Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. This world transformation begins with the transformation of individual lives. The idea was that everyone elected to leadership was a steward of the mercies of God. I would like to see us reclaim that understanding not only of leadership but also of membership. As disciples, we are all called to be stewards of the life God has given us, including our time, our talents and our treasure. A life being transformed by the grace of Christ is filled with many treasures. We will be exploring those treasures each Sunday in September and October. I hope you and your family will be a part of that exploration. Oh, what is man, that you are mindful of him? You have given man a crown of glory and honor, and have made him a little lower than the angels. You have put him in charge of all creation: the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea. But what is man that you are mindful of him.
