2 PASTOR S LETTER/ CARTA DEL PASTOR Dear parishioners, I have been enjoying some time away. I went to Boise to visit with a priest friend from seminary. I also spent some time this last week with my mom and stepdad. It was a great visit. During my visit with my mom we spent a lot of time talking about continuing scandal that is unraveling in Church. It is very difficult and depressing. I am praying for Church a lot more. After reading some of stories from victims in Pennsylvania report I have been praying a lot for m. It is horrible how y were treated by very shepherds that should have been protecting m. I am also praying for our current bishops, that y can find a path to creating a structure of accountability and atonement for what has been done. My prayers are with you all. También pasé un tiempo esta semana pasada con mi mamá y mi padrastro. Fue una visita estupenda. Durante mi visita con mi madre, pasamos mucho tiempo hablando del continuo escándalo que se está desmoronando en la Iglesia. Es muy difícil y deprimente. Estoy rezando por la Iglesia mucho más. Después de leer algunas de las historias de las víctimas en el informe de Pensilvania, he estado orando mucho por ellos. Es horrible cómo fueron tratados por los mismos pastores que deberían de haberlos protegido. También estoy orando por nuestros obispos actuales, que puedan encontrar un camino para crear una estructura de responsabilidad y expiación por lo que se ha hecho.
