Though all of us strive to be happy, none is completely happy. Accidents spoil our happiness. Sickness and death often do the same. There are many infirmities of the flesh and spirit which stand in the way of our attaining complete happiness. No one is immune from them besides; one s happiness does not always depend entirely on one s own actions. An ungrateful child may ruin the happiness of his father, heartless husband may embitter the life of his wife. Some men are so sensitive that they do feel happy unless those around them are also happy. Their sympathies are those that suffer may be too keen to allow them to be happy. It is also true that our desires are always in advance of our possessions. We desire many things and as we attain very few of them, we feel unhappy. 3 Subject: Rash and Reckless Driving Sir, I want to raise my voice against the road accidents which are taking place almost daily on our roads. All this is due to reckless driving. Rash and reckless driving has become a danger for the people of all ages. Specially, it is a danger for the old men and women and for the children who play in the streets and on the roads. Moreover, after the accidents, the responsible persons do not dare to stop and flee from the place of occurrence keeping in mind the punishment which may be inflicted upon them. The major reason of these accidents is negligence of the drivers. Most of the drivers are uneducated and have no sense of traffic rules and regulations. A recent survey made by the journalists in a TV program has disclosed a shocking report that most of the drivers are drunk when they are driving. Second major reason is the defective traffic police system. The traffic police are completely inefficient in their working. They do not do their duty honestly. I would like to offer some suggestions to remove this problem from society. First, the drivers who drive carelessly, their driving license should be cancelled. Second, if the drivers cause some accident, they should be punished severely because even if they are punished, the punishment imposed upon them is not so deterrent.
