We praise our heavenly father for his care and trust him for our future. Love Everet and Irene PROFESSION OF FAITH/MEMBERSHIP CLASSES: This spring there will be two Profession of Faith classes. The first will start shortly and is geared for those who are new to the faith or are wondering about the faith and the beliefs of the church. The second, offered in later in the spring is available to everyone. Please let Pastor Josh know soon if you are interested in either one. SOUP AND BUN LUNCHEON: Join us today Sunday, March 1st for a Soup and Bun Luncheon right after the morning service. We hope you can stay for a time of fellowship and a hot bowl of soup or chili for lunch. Soup, chili, buns, coffee tea, juice and dessert will be provided. All are welcome!! YOUNG PEOPLES: We will be meeting again on Tuesday night at the church from 7-9; all those in grades nine and up are welcome to come out and join us. We are also looking at going bowling in the next week or two so stay tuned for more information on a date and time. The convention is quickly approaching. The Family Project is a comprehensive, 12 part, DVD based small group curriculum that explores positive, hope filled stories showcasing the beauty of God s design in our everyday lives. You ll dive deep into the theology of the family and will also be offered practical resources to help families thrive. Session #5 is titled The Man Has Now Become Like One of Us In this session we look at how in the Fall, a family was divided. But how redemption also came through a family? Join us for the Family Project. All are welcome! Nursery is provided. DropBox Film: The Dropbox Film presented by Focus on the Family Canada is coming to select theatres in March for one day only. The Drop Box is a documentary about the work of Pastor Lee Jong-rak and his heroic efforts to embrace and protect his community s most vulnerable children. By installing a drop box outside his home, Pastor Lee provides a safe haven to babies who would otherwise be abandoned on the streets to die. It s a heart-wrenching exploration of the physical and emotional toll associated with providing refuge to save those deemed unwanted by society. But it s also a story of hope. And a celebration of the reality that every human life is sacred, has a purpose and is worthy of love. 6 Grit and Grace Inspirational Women s Conference: Join us for the Grit and Grace Inspirational Women s Conference on Saturday April 11, 2015 from 9 am to 4pm at The Meeting House in Oakville, Ontario. We're pretty excited about our theme, which is Grit and Grace... Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed. Lam. 3:22. We'll be considering how we can find God's Grace in the midst of the challenges of the journey. Life can be hard, life can be gritty. How can we reach out and embrace God's grace? We are hoping to get a group of ladies to go together to attend this conference. If interested in going for a great day/night away let Linda Watson know or the office. Crossroads Youth Drop-in Centre: Members of the Knox Presbyterian Church have started a youth drop in centre for highschool students. Their organization is called "Crossroads" with their first project being a youth drop-in centre. The centre is open every weekday from 2-6 pm, in the Presbyterian Church. Volunteers are needed.
