GREETERS & HOSTS: Bev Miller, Brooke Villiere STORYTELLER: Donna Goodfriend HABITAT RESTORE is a retail home improvement center open to the public - filled with donated furniture, appliances, fixtures and building materials sold at discount prices. All of our proceeds benefit Oneida County Habitat for Humanity building efforts. The following volunteers are needed:

3 Truck Drivers and Assistants: To pick up donated items. Movers: Move and set up heavy items for display. Customer Service Assistance: Greet customers and run the checkout counter. Cashier/Sales: Work with cash register and answer customer questions. For further information about any of the above volunteer opportunities, or to sign up to work, please call Rob Willson, ReStore Manager at COUNTRY PANTRY: It is time to start thinking about school breaks and the need for KIDS PAKS. What is a kids pak? It is an extra bag of food given to children to offset the lack of school meals during school breaks. The focus is on food that will appeal to children. Please start bringing the items to church. Last year they distributed 150 bags each month, June - September. I'm sure the number will be greater this year as the demands on the Pantry continue to grow.kid-pak items: peanut butter, 100% juice boxes, fruit cups, snack bars, oatmeal packets, canned pasta. The Pantry is always in need of canned fruit as this is an expensive item for them to purchase. Monetary donations may be sent to the Country Pantry at PO Box 76, Clinton, NY Questions? More restrooms may be found downstairs in the hall that parallels Williams Street. THE NURSERY is located off the narthex to your right as you enter the church. A diaperchanging table is there for your convenience. YOUR NEIGHBROS TOUCHING LIVES EVERY DAY : Your Neighbors volunteers offer companionship, medical and personal transportation, friendly assistance, healthy homecooked meals and other services to their clients in the greater Utica area. Over the past several months, Your Neighbors has experienced a sharp increase in the requests for supplemental frozen meals. We, the members and friends of Stone Church, have chosen to help Your Neighbors meet this need by providing a quantity of meals for distribution. We are requesting monetary donations to defray the costs of purchasing food to be prepared and packaged for the Your Neighbors clients. Your contribution can be clearly marked and put in the offering plate on Sunday or mailed to the Church office. Meals will be prepared, packaged and delivered by the Mission Committee group on Thursday, May 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Mary Ann Stiefvater, , or the church office. We are inviting you all to submit your favorite recipes (old family favorites or something new you have just tried and think it is incredible) for our monthly newsletter. Here s hoping everyone participates, so we can have a recipe for each month. Thank you, Membership, Communication and Outreach Committee ALICE and her 5 year old son are clients of the COUNTRY PANTRY. She has a recurrence of breast cancer and needs to have treatment in NYC. Her prognosis is poor so she is in need of prayers as well as financial help with gas and tolls to NY. Anyone wishing to make a donation of money, gas card or visa card may send it to the Country Pantry PO box 76, Clinton with a note indicating it is for Alice. FAIR TRADE SHOPPE: You are invited to visit our Fair Trade Shoppe located in the Norton Room, to see our wonderful selection of Fair Trade teas, coffees, chocolates, soups, and clothes which are all for sale. Our shop is open second Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in addition to our regular Thursday hours of 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. HOPE HOUSE WISH LIST: lasagna noodles, seasonings and spices, hot chocolate packets, tea bags, coffee, granulated sugar and sweetener packets, toilet paper, sanitary napkins, shampoo, deodorant, razors, and soap.
