Grand Lodge~ during the year SITTIKG OF FEBRUARY 19th. t On motion-resolrcd that the following; amendments to the geueral rules and regulations of the Gra11tl Lodge be and the same are hereby udoptcll. The Grand Lotl;.r,e presided h_y the Grand Master ancl the other Grand Ofi1cers~ is composed of all the foun<lers of the Grand Louge, of all the Past Mastrrs who h:we been duly electe<l to preside in any of the Lodges of this jurisdiction, and who have or shall declare their intentions to remain permanent members of the Grand Lodge, of the brethren who had been \Vardens of the seyeral Lodges under our jurisdiction, previous to the election int.he Jear of Masonry 582S, and who a\'ailed themselves of the p iyilege they then possessecl of remaining members after their functions of \Varden had expired by making application to that effect, and of the Representatives and Proxies of all the Lodges of the jurisdiction. Resolvecl-That each of the Represenfati\'es and Proxies have the right of causing themselves to be rrpresented in the Grand Lodge by a Brother of their Lo<l,ge who has held an office in the said Lodge, equal to the one held at the time by the Representative who sends the substitute. But the substitute is not entitled to fill the office of the Brother whose proxy he is if the said Brother should he an officer. On each of the days of Grand Commijnication, all regular Masons to whatever degree they belong shall be admitted as visitor in the Grand Lodge. If any of the Officers of this Grand Lodge, shall be absent for three meetings in succession, without assigning any reaaons for his absence; such Officer shall be considered as hay~ uig resigned his office, -.--_,,

Lafayette was introduced, and there recci, c<l the most fraternal proofs of the respects which his Yirtues inspired ; after which he assisted to a most splendid banquet, ordered by said Committee.
