1 Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren 91 Valley Church Road Weyers Cave, VA (540) Web: pleasantvalleyalive.org Proclaiming the Good News by being Christ in the world! Sunday Schedule Contemporary Worship 8:45-9:45 am Sunday School 9:50-10:50 am Traditional Worship 11:00 am Church Office Hours: Tuesday-Friday 8:30am - 12:30 pm Our Staff Pastor Matthew P. Fike Assoc. Minister of Children & Youth Ministries Steve Spire Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge, because it will build your strength and character. Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference. It's easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks. Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings. As many of you have noticed, we are very short on staff, to the point where these services have not been provided every Sunday morning. In the event that there are no volunteers to fill the openings in the schedule, services will be held without electronic support. Please prayerfully consider donating one Sunday morning per month to this ministry We are looking for a director or co-directors for Covenant Kids, starting in January.
