Life Enrichment Club - The Saints at the Chapel: Thrilling Tales of History s Holiest Heroes on February 13 from 11:00am-1:30pm in the Gathering Place. Local writer and storyteller, Christopher Reibold, aka, The Saint Story Guy will share stories of some of the saints whose relics are housed at Saint Anthony Chapel, in Troy Hill. The Chapel is home to the world s largest collection of saints relics outside of Rome. He will bring to life the inspiring, miraculous and human stories of these holy heroes. Music Ministry News Handbell Choir: Patti is looking for interested individuals to participate in a handbell choir which will ring during at least the morning Mass(s) of Easter. Saint Anthony Programs & DePaul School for Hearing and Speech Collection: The Pittsburgh Diocese is home to two nationally recognized educational programs for children with special needs: Saint Anthony School Programs and DePaul School for Hearing and Speech (formerly known as The DePaul Institute). A special collection to benefit these two organizations will be taken next weekend, January 19-20, 2019 at all Masses. Your donation will help Saint Anthony Program and DePaul School for Hearing and Speech to further their goals of providing quality educational programs and services for their students. The Nocturnal Adoration Society of Saint Louise de Marillac invites Saint Joan of Arc parishioners to join our organization. Once a month, our members respond to Christ s invitation to keep watch with him for one-hour. You will be welcomed into one of ten dedicated vigil groups, or you may form your own group consisting of 4 to 8 members. Your current resident seminarian, Mr. Gregg Kotchey, has been closely associated with a lay missionary community in Honduras called the Missioners of Christ. It is a group of young lay people, mainly from Honduras and the U.S., whose primary ministry is evangelization. They work with the bishop and priests of the Diocese of Comayagua in order to build up the Church and help develop the Honduran leaders of tomorrow. This Spring Break, Theological College (where Gregg will return after his pastoral year) will be headed down to join the Missioners for a week-long mountain mission in which they will not only minister to remote mountain villages but also be immersed in the immense beauty and culture of Honduras. There will be 13 seminarians headed down, so any prayerful and/or financial support will be much appreciated! A door collection will be taken up following all Masses on the weekend of January 19th and 20th at both Saint Joan and Saint Louise.
