A 2005 graduate of Bethel Park High School, He earned a bachelor of science degree in 2009 in management from Saint Vincent College, then entered the novitiate of Saint Vincent Archabbey in 2009 and made solemn profession of vows on July 11, He was ordained to the priesthood on May 2, Currently a Benedictine Monk - Saint Vincent Archabbey and Parochial Vicar and Associate Director of Campus Ministry at Saint John University Parish, WVU

39 Latest Diocesan News Posted: Fri., May 15, 2015 Benedictine Brother Isaac (Paul) Haywiser, of Bethel Park, was ordained to the priesthood May 2 at St. Vincent Basilica in Latrobe. The ordaining bishop was Greensburg Bishop Lawrence Brandt. Ordained to the diaconate in May 2014, Father Isaac was assigned to St. Louise de Marillac Parish in Upper St. Clair for his deacon year. He celebrated a Mass of thanksgiving May 2 at St. Louise. The son of Mark and Ellen Haywiser of Bethel Park, he is a 2005 graduate of Bethel Park High School. Father Isaac earned a bachelor s degree in 2009 in management from St. Vincent College. He entered the novitiate of St. Vincent Archabbey in 2009 and made simple profession of monastic vows in July He made solemn profession of vows in July His service to the Archabbey includes assistant to the manager, Gristmill General Store ( ); assistant in the summer retreat program ( ); and assistant director, Archabbey guests and guest facilities ( ).
