6 Corporate Confession of Faith Rev. Malloy Minister: Why does God allow his children to be tempted by sin? ALL: God, in his wisdom and grace often allows his own children to be tempted, and for a time to pursue the corruption of their own hearts. God does this to reveal to them the hidden strength of the corruption and deceitfulness of their hearts. In this they are humbled and raised to a closer and more constant dependence on God for their support and resisting sin. Schedule: 6:15-6:30 Devotion on prayer; 6:30-7:00 Prayer; 7:00-7:15 Fellowship New Members Class beginning September 9: If you are interesting in joining Arden Presbyterian Church or simply learning more about our history, vision, structure and ministry, please join us for this seven-week course during the Sunday School hour. The class will be led by pastor Craig Sheppard and will meet in room 205 of the Multipurpose building. There is no obligation to join. The class is also open to any current member. Please call the church office no later than September 5 to reserve your spot and to ensure that we prepare enough materials. Join us for a night of fellowship and devotion and lots of pie as we kick off a new year in Women s Ministry at APC.
