Adapted from Westminster Confession of Faith 10.3 Corporate Confession of Sin GOD GRACIOUSLY RENEWS OUR HEARTS Heavenly Father, we confess that we too, by the nature and effect of the fall, are so handicapped spiritually that we cannot love, honor, and serve you as we should. Instead, our lives are consumed by sin in thought, word and deed. Forgive us. We cling to our only hope, the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is able to naturally and completely please you by His perfect love and obedience. We come to your throne of grace on His merits alone. Help us to rest there always. 6
