1 SHABBOS PARA SHAS TERUMAH FEBRUARY 9, 2019 / 4 ADAR I 5779 It is with profound sorrow that we note the petirah of Rabbi Yitzchok (Edwin) Katzenstein,,ז"ל the Chairman of the Board of our Yeshiva and Askan extraordinaire. He loyally served our local mosdos, with heart and soul, for decades, in so many different capacities -including as Rosh Hakohol, President of the Chevra Kadisha, Chair of our Kashrus Committee, an expert Mohel, Baal Shacharis for the Yomim Noroim, Baal Selichos Erev Rosh Hashona, President of the local branch of Agudath Yisroel, Treasurer for the National Agudath Yisroel, and served on the Boards of the Jewish Community Council of WH and Moriah Senior Center. He always subjugated himself to Daas Torah and was a staunch guardian of our minhogim, but, most of all, he was a good friend to all who knew him. May he be a Malitz Yosher for his dear family, our Kehilla, the Yeshiva and for all of Klal Yisroel. Attached to this week s GSEM, is a copy of the ad placed in this week s Hamodia.
