2 INTRODUCTION The aim of this booklet is to introduce the reader to the topic from the Qur an. It can be studied on its own and it also complements the video lecture of the same topic which accompanies it. The booklet contains ayaat (Qura nic verses) pertaining to the topic as discussed in the video lecture in a question and answer format. Questions are raised, and their answers are given by the ayaat. The ordering and numbering of the ayaat corresponds with those on the lecture which can be downloaded from the video lectures section of IIPC website: The Qura nic references provided herein are not exhaustive but offer the core essence of the subject. The references that have been excluded in this publication can be researched using any good concordance and it will be discovered that the selection introduced in this publication will harmonize the entire sequence. It is hoped that Muslim readers will memorize these ayaat along with their Arabic text and engage in Da wah (propagation of Islam) to their friends and colleagues, and also be able to recite the same in their Salah (prayer). In this manner, the booklet becomes a useful tool for everyday Muslim practice - Insha Allah. Is there anyone that will receive admonition? Al-Qamar 54:17 THE HOLY AL-QUR'AN * A PROCLAMATION TO HUMANITY * A FOUNTAIN OF MERCY AND WISDOM. * A WARNING TO THE HEEDLESS. * A GUIDE TO THE ASTRAY. * AN ASSURANCE TO DOUBTFUL. * A SOLACE TO THE SUFFERING. * A HOPE TO THOSE IN DESPAIR. Do they not ponder over the Qur'an? If it had been from other than Allah, surely there would have found many contradictions in it. Al-Nisa 4:82 Our Motto And when Allah took the charter of those who are given Al-Kitab / The Book that you would make it clear for mankind and you will not keep it secret then they threw it behind their backs and purchase with it a little value so what a miserable purchase. 4 ACCORDING TO GOOD NEWS BIBLE JEWS & CHRISTIANS FAITH. GENESIS When the man saw that he was not winning the struggle, he struck Jacob on the hip, and it was thrown out of joint. 26. The man said, Let me go; day light is coming. I wont, unless you bless me, Jacob answered. 27. What is your name? The man asked, Jacob, he answered. 28. The man said, Your name will no longer be Jacob. You have struggled with God and with men,and you have won; so your name will be Israel You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. LUKE The son of man came to seek and to save the lost. MATHEW Then Jesus replied, I have been sent only to those lost sheep, the people of Israel. 6. OLD TESTAMENT JERMIAH 50 My people are like sheep whose shepherds have let them get lost in the mountains. They have wandered like sheep from one mountain to another, and they have forgotten where their home is. NEW TESTAMENT ACTS 10 MATHEW 10 Instead, you are to go to those lost sheep, the people of Israel. 6 AL-BAQARA O Bani-Israeel / children of Israeel! remember My blessing that I have blessed over you and surely I have favoured you over the worlds. 2. AL-BAQARA 2 That is Al-Kitab / The Book, no doubt in it a guidance for those who guard. 16. AL-JASIYA 45 And without doubt, We gave Bani-Israeel / children of Israel Al-Kitab / The Book and Al-Hukm / The Governance and An-Nubuwah / The Prophecy and We gave them sustenance from the good and We have favoured them over the worlds. PQ 2. AL-ISRA 17 And We gave Moosa (pbuh) Al-Kitab / The Book and We made it a guidance for Bani-Israeel / Children of Israel that you do not take an advocate other than Me. 3. (Children of Israel) are the offsprings whom We carried with Nooh (pbuh). Surely he was a thankful servant. 5 6

7 AL-BAQARA 2 N AL-BAQARA When We took a covenant with Bani-Israeel / Children of Israel that you will not serve except Allah and be good with your parents and with your relatives and the orphan and the needies and say good to mankind and establish Salah / prayer and give Zakat / justification then except few from you, you turn away avoiding it. 85. Then, here you are killing your souls / selves / psyches and you are expelling a group from you from their circles backing them with sin and enmity. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them and it was forbidden over you to expel them. So do you believe with a portion of Al-Kitab / The Book and you reject with a portion. So the reward for those who does that from you is except disgrace in this worldly life and on the day of judgement will return towards the severe punishment and Allah is not unaware about what you are doing. 84. And when We took a covenant that you do not shed your blood and do not expel your souls / selves from your circles then you confirmed and you are witnessing it. 7 8

8 AL-MAIDA Without doubt We took covenant with Bani-Israeel / Children of Israel and We sent Our messengers to them. Whenever comes to them a messenger with what their souls do not desire they belied a group and they killed a group. Q AS-SAFF And when Essa / Jesus (pbuh) the son of Maryam / Mary (pbuh) said O children of Israel, surely I am a messenger of Allah to you, confirming what is between my two hands from At-Taurah / The Law and giver of a good news with the messenger who will come after me whose name will be Ahmed / more praiseworthy. So when he came to them with clarifications, they said, this is a clear magic. AS-SAFF And when Moosa (pbuh) said to his people, O my people why do you hurt me? And without doubt you know that I am the messenger of Allah to you. So when they deviated, Allah deviated their hearts. And Allah does not guide the people who are fasiqeen / liberals. 9 10

9 AL-AHQAF 46 HOOD Say, do you see, if it is from the nearness of Allah and you reject with it and a witness from Bani Israeel / Children of Israel who witnessed over his likeness, so he believed and you sought greatness. Surely Allah does not guide the people who are oppressors. 17. So who is on clarity from his Lord and a witness (Muhammad pbuh) recites it from it. And it is from before a book of Moosa (pbuh) a leader and mercy. They believe with it and whoever rejects with it from the groups so fire is his promised place. So you (Mohammad pbuh) do not be in doubt from it, surely it is the truth from your Lord but the majority of mankind do not believe

10 AL-AHZAB Muhammad (pbuh) was not the father / ancestor from any of your men but he is the messenger of Allah and seal of the prophets. And Allah is knowledgable with everything. ASH-SHUARA And surely it is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds Revealed with it the spirit of truth. NR 2. MUHAMMAD 47 And those who believe and who do corrections and believe with what is revealed on Muhammad (pbuh) and it is the truth from their Lord. He will cover about their badness and correct their condition Over your heart so you (Muhammad pbuh) become from the warners With the clear Arabic language. 196.And surely it is in the earlier pieces. 197.And is it not for them an ayat / sign that the uluma / the knowledgable of Bani-Israeel / Children of Israel know it

11 Q AL-MAIDA So with what their breaking of their covenant We cursed them and We made their hearts hard. They perverted the word from its place and they forgot the portion of what they were reminded with it. And you will never cease to find mistrust from them except few from them so pardon and shake hands with them. Surely Allah loves those who are good doers. AL-BAQARA O Bani-Israeel / Children of Israel remember the blessings that I have blessed over you and complete your promise with Me and I will complete My promise with you and only Me you be terrified. 41. And believe with what I have revealed confirming what is with you and with it you do not become the first of rejecters. And you do not purchase My ayats / signs for a little price and only Me you be guarded. 42. And do not cover the truth with falsehood and do not hide the truth and you know it. 43. And establish salah / prayer and give Zakat / Justification and bow with those who bow down. 44. Do you order people with righteousness and forget your souls / selves and you recite Al-Kitab / The Book then do you not use intelligence? 15 16

12 AN-NAML Surely this Al-Quran / The Reading relates over Bani-Israeel / Children of Israel most of which they are differing in it. 77. And surely it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. AS-SAFF O you who believe! Become helpers of Allah as Essa (pbuh) son of Maryam (pbuh) said for the companions who are my helpers to Allah? The companions said we are helpers of Allah. So a group from the Bani-Israeel / Children of Israel believed and a group rejected. So We strengthen those who believed over their enemies so they begin the day of strong backing

13 AL-BAQARA Allah does not give a task to a soul except to her capacity. What she earns is for her and what she has earned is on her. O our Lord do not catch us if we forget and we make a mistake. O our Lord do not load a burden on us like you burdened on those from before us. O our Lord, do not burden us with that we do not have the strength with it. Pardon us and forgive us and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us over the people who reject. Questions & Answers 19 20

14 YOUNUS And We took the children of Israel across the sea, so pharaoh and his forces followed them in wrong and in enmity, until he realized of drowning, he said, I believe that there is no god except Him whom the Children of Israel believe with Him and I am from those who are muslims / submitters. AN-NISA And whosoever obey Allah and the messenger so they are with those whom Allah blessed over them, from prophets and truthful ones and witnesses and those who correct. And that is a beautiful companionship. P Q1. Is there any ayah / sign of Quran which indicates that children of Israel are muslims? MARYAM They are those among the prophets on whom Allah has blessed from the offspring of Adam and from those whom We carried with Nooh (pbuh) and from the offspring of Ibraheem (pbuh) and Israel and from those whom We guided and We selected, when the ayats / signs of the Gracious were recited on them they fall down prostrating, weeping. MU Q2. In the Quran children of Israeel have been blessed by Allah. Is there any ayah / sign which says that all the prophets are blessed by Allah? 21 22

15 Q AL-MAIDA And the yahood / lenient / jews say, that hand of Allah is cuffed / tied up. Their hands are cuffed / tied up and they are cursed with what they have said, but both His hands are outspread He spends how He wills. And what is revealed to you from your Lord definitely increases the majority amongst them in tyranny (i.e. unjustly harsh, cruel) and rejection. And We have put enmity And hatred amongst them towards the day of judgement. Whenever they (yahood / lenient /jews) ignite the fire for war, Allah extinguishes it and they make an effort in the earth to cause corruption. And Allah does not love those who are mufsedeen / corrupt. RN AL-JUMA Say O hadoo / those who became lenient / jews! If you claim that you are Aulia / Protectors of Allah besides other people then wish for the death if you are truthful. 7. And they will never wish for death with what their hands forward ahead / send. And Allah is knowledgable with the oppressors. Q3. From your lecture we come to know that present day muslims are the children of Israel and the present day Jews are not the children of Israel. What Quran says about the Jews? 23 24

16 AAL-E-IMRAN 3 O MOMINOON 23 NO 93. All food was lawful for children of Israel except what Israel has forbidden on his soul / self / psyche from before the revelation of Taurah / law. Say come with the Taurah / law then recite it if you are truthful. 27. Then We inspired towards him (Nooh pbuh) that you manufacture a ship within Our eyes and Our inspiration, so when Our order comes and the oven (of the earth) boils then in it insert two from every pairs and your family except from them to whom the saying is preceded over him. And you do not address Me in those who are oppressed. Surely they are those who will be drowned. AL-ISRA 17 MS 3. (Children of Israel) are the offspring whom We carried with Nooh (pbuh). Surely he was a thankful servant. Q4. According to you if the present day children of Israel are muslims we know what is lawful and unlawful food for us. Then could you clarify this verse of Aal-e-Imran 3:93 that why Israel made lawful food unlawful? 25 26
