Ref: (i) Letter No. ET /Estt/154/2012 dated issued by the Finance Department. (ii) Letter No. SSB/Sel/Secy/2015/ dated received from the J&K Services Selection Board, jammu. Government Order No. ft -F of 2016 Dated: Whereas, the Finance Department vide communication No. ET /Estt/154/2012 dated referred 97 posts of Junior Assistants( 48=Divisional Cadre Kashmir & 49=Divisional Cadre Jammu) of the J&K Excise and Commercial (Subordinate) Service to J&K Services Selection Board for selection of suitable candidates; and Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board vide communication No. SSB/SeljSecy/2015/ dated forwarded selection list of 87 candidates( 4 l=divisional Cadre Kashmir & 46=Divisional Cadre Jammu) advertised vide Advertisement Notice No.06 of 2013 dated ; and Whereas, the Board, has also intimated that out of advertised posts, 10 posts have been kept un-filled due to nonavailability of eligible candidates under the different categories, the breakup is given as under:- i. RBA category =Ol(Divisional Cadre Kashmir) ii. SC category =02(Divisional Cadre Kashmir) iii. ST category =03(Divisional Cadre Kashmir) 02(Divisional Cadre Jammu) iv. B) In case of failure of any appointee to join within the stipulated period, his/her appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled without any further notice. C) The appointee(s) shall be allowed to join only on production of the following certificates in original:- 1. Academic/Technical Qualification Certifi cates. 2. Matriculation/ Date of Birth Certificate. 3. Health Certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer. 4. Permanent Resident Certificate issued by the Competent Authority. 5. Certificates from the District Industries Centre(DIC) and District Employment & Counseling Centre to the effect that no loan under the self employment scheme has been taken by the appointee. 6. Relevant category certificates (in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories).

3 D) The appointment of the candidates as Junior Assistants shall further be subject to the following conditions:- i. Each appointee shall give an undertaking duly attested by the First Class Magistrate in the shape of an affidavit to the effect that in case adverse report about his/her character and antecedents is received from Inspector General of Police, (CID), J&K to whom a reference shall be made by the concerned HoD, the candidate shall have no right to claim his/her appointment as Junior Assistant and his/her appointment as such shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio. ii. If on verification, the certificate(s) produced by the appointees are proved to be fake or forged, the appointment shall be cancelled ab-initio. iii. The salary of the appointees shall not be drawn and disbursed to them unless the satisfactory reports in respect of (i) and (ii) above are received in their favour. iv. The appointment of the said candidates shall be governed by the "New Pension Scheme" as per SRO 400 of 2009 dated v. The appointee(s) shall be on probation for a period of 02 years and shall undergo and qualify the Secretariat Assistants Examination Course(Foundation Course). vi.
