3 What s Happening with Student Ministry? 8th Grade Pool Party Sunday, May 18 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. There will be a pool party for current 8th graders and their families. This will mark the milestone of them advancing to high school and to welcome them to the high school ministry. Directions can be found at the Student Information Center. Refuge Pregnancy Center Baby Bottle Campaign What is the BABY BOTTLE Campaign? Eastridge Community Church is partnering with Refuge Pregnancy Center to fill up baby bottles to raise money! Babies are being saved from abortion. Mothers are being saved by Christ. Basic necessities of care are being administered. How does it work? Pick up a baby bottle at either campus starting today. Covington Campus-the front and side doors Jackson Lake Campus-the Atrium Fill the baby bottle(s) with loose change, bills or a check made out to Refuge Pregnancy Center. Return your bottle(s) to the Information Center anytime before/by Father s Day, June 15. THURSDAYS 7:00 p.m. Covington Campus Real Life and Celebration Place Real Life: A safe place for middle & high school students to deal with real life issues and find support and acceptance. One of the key goals of Brighton Their World's mission is to activate, motivate and otherwise engage people to become active participants in the fight for the lives of orphans across the globe. The ECC Mission team invites you to participate in a formula drive. Please bring powdered formula up until Father s Day and help feed orphans in Ethiopia. (Both are ministries of Celebrate Recovery.)

4 Reach the World How can I help support the local and global ministry partners of ECC? You can pray for their efforts to Reach the World. You can volunteer locally. You can visit and serve the global mission organizations. And you can GIVE. Four times a year, March 23, June 22, September 21 and December 21, Eastridge will collect a special Reach the World offering during the Sunday services. Our goal is to raise $100, total. If every adult in attendance at both campuses gives $40.00 on each of the dates above, then we will hit our goal and fully support the Missions listed in the Reach the World directory. Ahoy, Matey! Who wouldn t want to explore an old pirate cove, with its glittering turquoise waters, warm white sands and cool ocean breezes? Visitors to Treasure Cove VBS are welcomed by a Pirate Ship Captain and his swashbuckling friends. Get ready for an adventure fit for a pirate! There is treasure to be found here. More precious than gold, more lasting than diamonds, it is the greatest treasure of all God s love! Kids will discover the rich treasure of God s love through the life of Jesus!
