3 A MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR. Dear Parishioners, Today at the 7:00 pm Mass, we have the honor of welcoming the Diocesan Vocation Director, Fr. Sean Suckiel, to celebrate Mass and to speak with our young people in the school hall after the Mass. I invite everyone, young and older, to come and prayerfully support religious vocations here at Our Lady of Grace and in the diocese by participating in this event. In order to encourage vocations at this Mass, we will begin sending out to parish families a Vocation Chalice. The chalice, used at the altar of the church, can be placed in a prominent place in your home as a reminder for the need to ask God to send priests and religious to serve the church and our community. For those who have children, it can also be a wonderful way of teaching the need to offer thanksgiving to God daily at your family table and weekly with the parish faith community at Sunday Mass. Any family who would like to host the Vocation Chalice and pray for priests and religious vocations are asked to sign up after the Mass on Sunday or call the rectory during the week between 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. Vocations are precious gifts from the seeds of God s works and sacraments. Like any organic and spiritual reality, they need to be recognized, received, cherished and nurtured if they are to grow and bring forth great blessings. The Rosary meeting will be held on Sunday, February 4th after the 10:00 am Mass. Hope to see you all there! They meet every Tuesday at 7:30 pm-9:30 pm for Christian fellowship with a desire to deepen our understanding of faith and our belief in Jesus Christ.
