2 Name: Regina Schroer Position/Ministry Area: Administration Date of Report (MM/DD/YY): 1/5/2017 -Christmas preparations seemed to go off without a hitch Directory completed and now available -gather info on Elvanto app, to use for attendance purposes -with new Council members coming on board, you need to know that dates are the most important thing you can communicate with me. I m sure you don t even realize all the different groups, etc. that meet here, so you MUST reserve space in the church. The calendars you see printed or online are not complete calendars, only Regina has access to those, so just because the church looks open, it may not be!

3 Name: Joe Poppino Position/Ministry Area: Pastor Date of Report (MM/DD/YY): 01/05/17 Christmas services: Christmas Celebration Service (12/18), Christmas Eve Service (12/24), Christmas Day Service (12/25) Met with Spanish church to discuss possibilities of partnering together Approached 5 men about forming a discipleship group aimed at reproducing disciples who make disciples that will hopefully spread eventually to the whole church. Participated in ECC Columbus Evangelism Cohort Pastoral care calls, visits, meetings Virgil Gase Memorial Service (01/06) Family Vacation (12/1-12/8) Start meeting with Discipleship Group Interview candidates for Minister to Children and Families Continue ECC Evangelism Cohort ECC Midwinter Conference Final Ordination interview in Louisville (01/28) with Board of Ordered Ministry Leading worship at Covenant Youth Camp in Washington (01/13-15) I appreciate extra prayer as we go through some staff transitions (Shelby leaving, a potential hire). Pray also for my family that God would protect us from spiritual attack during this season.

4 Name: Susan Zaffiro Position/Ministry Area: Vice Chair (2016), Christian Formation (2017) Date of Report (MM/DD/YY): January 5, 2017 Signed a bunch of reimbursement/payment forms for CF. Interviewing candidates for Minister to Children and Families position. Have a meeting of the Christian Formation team to go over plans and goals for Hopefully, get the new Minister to Children and Families on board. Look into both short-term and long-term solutions for youth group leadership. Pray for the decision of the Search Committee as we interview candidates and hopefully call a person to this ministry.

5 DECEMBER Name: Marlene Evans Position/Ministry Area: Adult Ministries Date of Report (MM/DD/YY): December 31, ACTIVITIES AND/OR ACCOMPLISHMENTS: *The women met for lunch at J Austin s in Springdale. *The men invited families to join in their wonderful Christmas breakfast. It was followed by Christmas carols. Thanks men for the delicious food, and thank you to Pastor Joe for leading the carols. *The Christmas dinner was held on December 18 th. It was a blessing to have so many of you help in the preparation and the decoration. *Thank you to all who have been helping with the needs of our church family. * I am continuing to weed out unused objects that are no longer needed by Adult Ministries. *Chester and Judy Dowers were kind enough to arrange the Christmas/winter decorations for the tables. They look beautiful! We appreciate your time and talents, Judy and Chester. 5. GOALS FOR NEXT MONTH: I plan on finishing the weeding out of unwanted, adult ministry, objects in the storage room. 6.
