2 Announcements Immediately following today s worship service, we ll celebrate Jesus birthday by singing Happy Birthday to Him and enjoying His birthday cakes. Be sure to stay for our traditional celebration. Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la. Plan to join us for our traditional Christmas caroling on Friday, December 23 at 6:00pm at the MacQuarrie home. Be sure to come for this fun annual event where we can bless Caroling a Vestal neighborhood. Bring a snack to share after the caroling. For directions, contact Barbara at tinpalace@gmail.com or The 2017 annual church campout will be Thursday July 13 - Sunday July 16 at Letchworth State Park. Since the sites are beginning to fill up, make reservations as soon as 2017 you can. When you make reservations, make them in the #400 loop. Make note that some families like to come a day early and stay a day later, so some may stay Wednesday, July 12 - Monday, July 17. When you make a reservation, the church office at office@piercehill.org and let Sherilyn know your site number as well as the dates you reserved. She ll make a master list for everyone for future reference. Mark your calendars to plan to attend the church camp out and make reservations now at Once again, it s going to be a wonderful time enjoying God's creation and the fellowship of church family. The exact website link is the following: The annual leaders meeting will be Saturday, January 28 at 9:00am at church. This meeting is for all 2017 leaders. Please bring all your dates for meetings and events for January 2017 through February Breakfast items and beverages will be served. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please inform Pastor Art and have someone come in your place with your meeting/events dates. Pastor Art s December monthly musing, Christmas Traditions is available for you to pick up in the foyer. Prayer Requests You re invited to our family Christmas Eve Service Saturday, December 24 at 6:30pm. Bring a Service candle in a candle holder for your family to light during the service. There will be extra candles available for families who may not have a candle. Invite your family and friends to celebrate the birth of Jesus as well. Christmas Eve Attention Outgoing 2016 and Incoming 2017 Leaders: The due date for your 2016 reports and 2017 goals is Friday, January 6. However, since the required financial information probably will not be received until after the Annual Report & Goals Due reports/goals due date, the financial reports will be due once the necessary financial information is received. Please all reports and goals to the church office at office@piercehill.org. Christmas Day Service Our Christmas worship service on Sunday, December 25 will be at it s regularly scheduled time of 10:45am. The kids will not have kids worship during the service. Instead they can enjoy the special Christmas family worship service planned for that day. Sunday school will not be held either, so everyone can enjoy more family traditions at home before the Sunday worship service.
