I said, Who s pumped up to be in Konnect today? (Kids cheer and answer.) That s more like it! Now, let s watch a quick rules video with our friends from Konnect HQ. Let s pray for our offering. Bow your heads with me. (Kids and leaders bow heads.) God, thank You for blessing the gifts we ve given to You today! We love You! In Jesus name, amen! OK! Everybody s eyes on me! Look for it as we check in on the Konnect HQ crew! Wow. It s not always easy to tell the difference between making Jesus your Teacher and making Him your Lord but real disciples do both! That activity reminded me that the closer I get to Jesus and the better I get to know Him, the more I can see and feel His power at work around me! That s what it means to be a disciple! (Together with kids) Jesus helps His disciples make more disciples. Way to go! Now, that s an interesting point! But what s that got to do with being an example? Well, let s watch this and see if we can figure it out! Whoa. When you copy Jesus others can copy you, and they can become better disciples! All this copying talk reminds me of a joke! Tell me What s a kitten running a copy machine called? (Kids shout out their ideas.) A copy cat! Get it? Cause he s a cat making copies? Anyway That was silly, but worshiping God isn t! They ve got a game for you to play! Can you believe it? Jesus knows everything about you. Yeah everything. The good, the bad, and the ugly. But He still loves you! That s what the ABCs are all about! If you re ready to follow Jesus, let your small group leader know and talk to your family about it. Once you choose to follow Jesus, you can count on Him to help you follow His example, and to help you show others how to follow His example, too. Talk more about that in your small group.
