There s someone else here that you really need to get to know your small group leader! Make sure you know their name right now! (Kids check small group leader s name.) Okay, pop quiz shout out your leader s name on 3! 1 2 3! (Kids shout out their small group leader s name.) Great job, guys! Now let s watch a quick rules video with our friends from Konnect HQ. It s so great to be able to give to God! Let s learn today s point. It says, Use what you re good at to give God glory. Repeat it after me loud and proud! God s plan uses everything in your life to do something great including what you care about! Repeat after me, Care about it! (Kids repeat) Care about it! Super! Now listen up as our Konnect HQ friends talk about our Konnect rules! I love to honor God with my offering! Okay, let s learn today s point. It says, Use what you care about to give God glory. Now, I heard some talk of animals, electricity, and what nots all going on at Konnect HQ let s see what s going on and what all that has to do with what people care about! God kept it simple for us to get to know Him: when we admit our faith in Jesus and follow Him, we re God s friends! He ll help us grow closer to Him. God uses all of it as a part of His good plan for our lives. Yell out, All of it! (Kids shout out) All of it! Aww you sound like a bunch of old grandmas! Try it louder! (Kids shout out) All of it! That s better. Now don t let that thought escape from your head while we watch the Konnect HQ crew break down the rules for us! I saw some generous kids in here! Today, our point is, Use your story to give God glory. Now repeat it after me. Use your story (Kids repeat) Use your story to give God glory. (Kids repeat) to give God glory. Way to go! Now that you know the point, let s see what links the crew on Konnect HQ find to bring it home! Raise your hand up high if your group was the best at putting together their puzzles! Looks like God used a really sad part of Harper s story her parents divorce to help Alissa out when she was going through the same thing. All of our stories are different, but God still uses every part the good and the bad so we can help others and show how good God is. The Bible verse tells us about that. Say it with me! (Do motions and say in rhythm with kids) Romans 8:28 in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. You sounded great! Now it s time to do something a bit puzzling with our small groups! When I found out Jesus died for me to make me right with God, I was surprised He knew everything about me and still loves me so much! If you want to follow Jesus, let your small group leader know, and they can talk to your family about it. Having Jesus in your heart is the first step in learning God uses everything in your life to bring glory to Him. As you get to know Jesus more, you ll be able to trust God more on all of your days, good and bad, because you ll know He s with you and doing something great! Go ahead and talk more about your stories in your small groups!
