This week, we re talking about what we can do to quit acting like everyone needs to take care of us, and start doing what we need to do to take care of ourselves! Yell out, Quit the baby stuff! (Kids shout out) Quit the baby stuff! Aww you sound like a bunch of old grandmas! Try it louder! (Kids shout out) Quit the baby stuff! That s better. Now don t let that thought escape from your head while we watch Ray and Luke break down the rules for us! I saw some generous kids in here! Today, our point is, No more baby stuff. Looks like Luke and Harper had to start taking care of their own food and it helped everyone see you ve got to take care of your own heart to be mature for God! They found a Bible verse that talks about that. Say it with me! (Do motions and say in rhythm with kids) Hebrews 5:13 someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn t know how to do what is right. You sounded great! Now get ready to figure out what kinds of things are spiritual milk for your heart and what kinds of things are spiritual meat with your small group! When I found out Jesus died for me to make me right with God, I was surprised He knew everything about me and still loves me so much! If you want to follow Jesus, let your small group leader know, and they can talk to your family about it. Having Jesus in your heart is the first step to growing mature. As you get to know Him more, you ll be able to stop needing everyone else to tell you what to do, and you ll be able to lead yourself to live for God! Go ahead and talk more about spiritual milk, spiritual meat, and how to grow up in your small groups!

Now listen up as our friends Ray and Luke share the rules with us! God gives us so much, and we re so blessed we get to give some of it back to Him! This week s point is, No more stinking sin. I saw a lot of you listening to Ray and Luke really well! And some of you might even get a reward for making great choices like that today a Dot sticker! Your small group leader will be watching to see who they can pass out Dot stickers to this week! Those Dots are worth some serious points at the Konnect Window! Now I ll choose two friends to pick up our offering while the rest of us watch the offering video. Let s find out why we give money to God! (Choose helpers.) Whoa! Our old sins stink to God, just like a lucky sock stinks when you never wash it! Gross! But Jesus cleans our hearts up when we follow Him, and His power helps us leave old ways behind. Even Jesus grew wiser and stronger for God! Let s say our Bible verse about that together! (Do motions and say in rhythm with kids) Luke 2:52 Jesus became wiser and stronger. He also became more and more pleasing to God and to people. Great job! Now you ve got a dice game to play with your small group. If you roll well, the smells will be great! But if you don t well, let s just say it s gonna get pretty stinky! God gave us the most amazing gift ever: His Son, Jesus. Let your small group leader know if you re ready to accept that gift. You can admit your sin, believe Jesus died for you, and choose to depend on God s power to help you say, No! to sin. Once you do that, God fills you with His power. And that power changes you in a good way! You ll get better at quitting the old stinking sin and living for God, instead! In your small group, talk about some sins you d like to leave behind and some new, godly things you d like to start doing.
