The analysis found that the number of Planned Parenthood facilities in the United States dropped from 668 to 645 in A detailed report will be released in January The STOPP survey tracks all Planned Parenthood locations by country, and details the number of facilities that commit surgical and medical abortions. The number of Planned Parenthood center has dropped significantly since its zenith of 938 facilities in Over the last decade, Americans have been exposed to Planned Parenthood s legacy of lawbreaking and abuse, as undercover investigations by Live Action, and most recently by the Center for Medical Progress, revealed the true face of America s largest abortion chain. In summer of 2015, the group s public funding came under intense scrutiny in light of undercover videos by the Center for Medical Progress, showing top-level Planned Parenthood executives discussing the trafficking of fetal body parts. In 2015, the number of Planned Parenthood surgical abortion facilities dropped from 173 to 166, while the number of medical abortion facilities increased from 164 to 187. The rise in medication-only facilities reveals Planned Parenthood s push for the future, as 90 percent of such locations is operated by the abortion group, STOPP reports Taken from:

6 Word of Life December 2015 Bulletin Briefs Heavenly Father, thank you for the precious gift of life. Help us to cherish and protect this gift, even in the midst of fear, pain, and suffering. Give us love for all people, especially the most vulnerable, and help us bear witness to the truth that every life is worth living. Grant us the humility to accept help when we are in need, and teach us to be merciful to all. Through our words and actions, may others encounter the outstretched hands of your mercy. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen. USCCB Respect Life Program Prayer Card: Every Life is Worth Living Regardless of our circumstances and whether people acknowledge it, nothing and no one can take away our God-given dignity. USCCB Respect Life Program Maggie s Story: Living like Dad Those who sow in tears will reap with cries of joy. Those who go forth weeping, carrying sacks of seed, Will return with cries of joy, carrying their bundled sheaves. Psalm 126:5-6 (NABRE 2010 CCD. Used with permission.) fmjzpx [W]e know what true, authentic love looks like. It looks like the man on the Cross. This deep, pure love that motivated Jesus to offer his life for ours, is the love that will answer the longing in our hearts, if we let it. 8 We are looking for underused Regalia. If you have or know someone who has Regalia that is not being used, we should talk We would like to acquire one or more sets of Regalia to be kept in the Knight s room at St Joan of Arc. This would create an opportunity for some of our Council s 4th Degree members who do not have their own Regalia to answer color call outs in our Parish. I am not asking anyone for a full set; but if you have a service baldric, sword, cape or chapeau that you no longer use, please consider donating it to the Council. Many Knights have replaced some of these items because of age or desire for a newer/better fitting piece. We will be able to put them to good use. Thank you. Page 8 December 2015

If for some reason this creates a hardship, let him know and an arrangement can be made. The Super Bowl Squares has been an extremely profitable fund raiser for our Council for several years now. It has been modified from year to year to produce more winners and increase participation. If you have any questions, would like to help, or just need to purchase your squares, contact Drew Porro. As this newsletter goes to print, there are still 31 squares available. We NEED to sell these before drawing the numbers and it would be better to have it done before the Lasagna dinner.
