I Am Jesus Says We will play Jesus Says but instead of saying, Jesus says..., we will use the different Hebrew names of God (Jehovah, El Shaddai, El Ohim, etc.). The children will have to determine if this is an actual name of God to do the action or not. Create a list of the names for the helper to use. The children that mistakenly do not do the action or do the action will say an I am but keep going in the game. This will help the children learn the different names God goes by. We are to respect the names God goes by to describe Himself in depth. Ms. Angela 2. Have a child pray. 3. Announcements and visitors a. Introduce any visitors. b. Birthdays 4. Rules 5. We will separate the children into three or four teams. We will have the children slide on plates from one side of the room to the other to retrieve a power verse word. 3 February 10, I am Knock Down We will stack empty soda cans and have the children stand a far distance away from them. We will give them a foam ball and three chances to knock down the cans. The number of cans they are able to knock down is the number of I ams they will say, with a maximum of three. Just like this ball has the power to knock down these cans, the Name of Jesus has the power to destroy anything the enemy tries to raise up against us. Ms. Nohemi 2. Have a child pray. 3. The children will have to run to the cup, punch it, get the power verse word, and run back to their group. Once all of the words are retrieved, the children will work together to put the power verse in order. When we use the

5 February 17, I am Cup Stack We will have two children stack cups in a pyramid for twenty seconds. The number of levels they are able to build is the number of I ams they will say, with a maximum of three. Remember the Name of Jesus is the highest name in heaven, on earth, and in hell. 7 February 24, I am Toothpick Stick Each child will have a toothpick that they will place in their mouth. They will walk over to pick up a sour patch kid and walk back. They will say an I am and eat the sour patch kid. Just like you do not want this candy to fall on the ground, you should treat the Name of Jesus even more precious. Ms. Fay 2. Have a child pray. 3. The children will toss a glow in the dark necklace around a cone to retrieve a memory verse word. Once all of the words are retrieved, the children will work together to put the power verse in order. 8 11. The Name of Jesus Is One of the Most Valuable Things You Own Object Lesson Bro. Terrick a. Bring things that are valuable to you sentimental things and things worth a lot of money. b. Lay them out on the four-foot table to display before the children. c. Tell the children why these things are valuable to you. d. Ask the children what is valuable to them. e. Explain how the Name of Jesus is powerful and able to change any circumstance in our life and is one of the most important and valuable gifts we possess. 12. Review Lesson 13.
