Parents with young children are also welcome to worship in the Kids Zone in the Narthex. We provide a changing table in the restroom located in the hallway west of the Fireside Room. Please see an usher for directions. Flowers at the Reredos: Given in celebration of the 55th Wedding Anniversary on June 15 of Arthur and Yvonne Dodd. Flowers at the Narthex: Given in loving memory of Margo Reese for her work with the Youth Choir by the Martin Family. If there are Prayer Quilts hanging on the north wall of the sanctuary, you are invited to pray over and tie knots on the quilts. Our Welcome Table is located right outside the main entrance. You will find information that you may take with you and church members who can answer questions. Please sign our guest book! All are invited to join us for refreshments and fellowship in Simkins Hall in The Shelby Center after the worship service. Today s Coffee Fellowship is provided by the Church Council. Next Sunday: Join us at 10 am worship; Rev. Dorothy Worley will offer the sermon "Miracles Happen!" Each time we worship, we collect food for the Westside Food Bank. In June, bring soups. Farris report back from the UMC General Conference held in Tampa last month. Putting a Roof over Our Heads Due to extensive water damage, the Trustees are working diligently to replace the roof on the Sanctuary and Choir Room. Current bids are upwards of $60,000; we need your help to fund 50% of this amount. We can make this happen if everyone plays a part! Drop your donation in the offering plate, at the Hospitality Table, or in the church office. Youth Service Project 2012 Our YSP team is gearing up for their mission trip to the New Orleans area July Be sure to attend their Silent Auction Fundraiser, Dinner & Show on Sunday, June 24. Doors open for the auction preview at 5 pm, with dinner and show starting at 6 pm. Look forward to more information about the show and some great auction items that are must-own!
