Friday, August 4 is the First Friday of the month. There will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 8:00pm with the recitation of the rosary. Adoration will continue throughout the night and will close with Mass on Saturday at m. is scheduled for Sunday, August 6. This is a mandatory class for all first time parents wishing to have their baby baptized at Our Lady of Victory. TRINITY CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIL PICASSO ART CAMP: for Grades 6 th -8 th will be held from 9:00am-4:00pm August 7-11; Cost is $200 per camper. Snacks are provided. Students need to bring a packed lunch. Students will be traveling offsite on Monday. For more information, please contact Mrs. Finkel at or bfnkel@cdeducation.org. The theme of the Bishop s Annual Appeal this year is Living the Gospel in Faith, Hope and Charity and encourages each of us to be willing to be the hope so many are desperately looking for. In sharing our material blessings, we will help to strengthen our ministries, educate our young people, support the vocations of those called to the Priesthood and married life and bring comfort to the ill and the lonely. Our Parish goal this year is $67,964 which I am confident we will reach with everyone s help. STEPHEN THE MARTYR FESTIVAL will be held on August 4 from 6:00pm midnight, August 5 from 5:00pm midnight and August 6 from 1:00pm 5:00pm. For more information, please call THE BLUE MASS: St. Timothy Church and St. Timothy Knights of Columbus Council will host The Blue Mass on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 5:00pm. The Blue Mass is an opportunity to honor and pray for all active, retired and deceased police, firefighters, and emergency medical services. In addition, it is an occasion to remember the 2,973 who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. All active and retired police, fire, and emergency medical services in the greater Columbus area, and their families are invited. The Celebrant and Homilist for The Blue Mass will be The Most Reverend Frederick F Campbell, DD, PhD, Bishop of Columbus. THE 2017 FRIENDS OF THE POOR WALK, sponsored by Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Columbus, will take place on Saturday September 16 from 9:00am to noon, with registration starting at 8:30am. We are pleased to announce that this year s WALK has moved downtown to the Topiary Park, near The Columbus Metropolitan Library and Christo Rey H.S. Free parking at Motorists Insurance nearby. All proceeds from the walk go back to the walker s SVP conference to serve the needy and poor in their community. You must first register online in order to make donations. To register, proceed as follows: 1. Log on web site, Below the large picture of the Walkers choose STATE OF OHIO as where your Walk takes place then click on NEXT. 2. A list of Walks that take place in Ohio will be shown. Go to the large box showing COLUMBUS DIOSESE FRIENDS OF THE POOR WALK then click on the dark blue box REGISTER TO WALK. 3. Fill in your CONTACT INFORMATION then page down to WALKER INFORMATION. 4. Under WALKER INFORMATION Click on box Choose Beneficiary. 5. Where it asks for Diocese, choose DIOCESE OF COLUM- BUS. 6. There will be 33 different conferences (or seven pages) shown. Locate your Conference and click on SELECT. 7. After you register and select your Username, you will be issued a password (it may come via ). 8. Record your username and password for future reference and use it to log on and make donations. This can be done by going back to the original web page. Drop down towalker heading and sign in using username and password. And make your donation. 9. Friends and family can also make donations to you and your conference by logging in and typing in your name under the heading WALKER. 10.All donations make will go directly to the SVDP National, and will be distributed to each individual conference who participates. MAINTENANCE POSITION AVAILABLE: St. Agatha Parish has immediate need for a full-time custodian/maintenance person to be part of the maintenance team.
