The Slovakia Mission Committee has chosen to not charge for the event, however there will be a goodwill offering that will benefit the new CCE High School of Slovakia. Share freely, your time and sign up to walk beside and care for others... Our Saviour s provides overnight housing for homeless men, women, and children in a safe environment. The spirit of hospitality is a priority, as well as respect for each person. We continue hosting DuPage PADS on Friday nights at the Celebration! campus. It s not too late to sign up to join us on one or more of these nights... August 1, 8, 15, 22 Go on line to sign up to help at oursaviours.com/missions/local. For DuPage PADS: we are collecting socks, undies, caps and backpacks. For Bridge Communities we are collecting with gas and grocery gift cards. For Refugees we are collecting size large maternity clothes and basic household items for kitchen, bedroom and bath for a Welcome to America Pack. For Baby Care Kits we are collecting gently used baby clothes and blankets. Information about specific items is at the information tables, and all items can be dropped off at the information tables at either campus. Upcoming Guest Preachers To celebrate our partnership with Urban Acacia Ministry and the Slovakian Impact! Ministry, we are excited to announce our guest preachers for the next few weeks. Feed My Starving Children MobilePack At Union Pier Enjoy the beautiful city of Chicago, and join us for a special Feed My Starving Children MobilePack at Union Station on Tuesday, August 19 from 10:00 am noon. Take the train down to Chicago and help pack food for those in need around the world. Mission Trip to Vida Humana - We are planning a mission trip to Chimoio, Mozambique July, 2015, to visit our mission partner organization, Vida Humana. The book chronicles a young boy's experience of heaven after he survives an emergency surgery. 6 Small Groups - Small groups model the early church and what it means to do life together and live in community. We encourage you to join one of our small groups and experience life the way God intended... in community. Many of the Small Groups are taking a break for the summer, and will be stating up again this fall. Watch for more details. Questions about the group or how to get involved? Introducing a new tool for leading a Small Group - The Sermon Series that has been used to lead a Small Group for the past year has become well known and received by the current Small Group leaders and their participants. It s time to introduce another tool Reflective Series that will be used to lead a Small Group for different spiritual needs with a different type of leadership. You are invited to come to experience it for three Sundays from 6:30-7:30pm: July 20, and 27 in the Conference Room, Our Saviour s campus. The following training dates will be open to those who would like to lead a Small Group with this new tool from 6:30-8:00pm: July 30, August 6,13, 20, 27, and September 3 in the Conference Room at Our Saviour s campus.
