In another words, it is an expression about a lack of choice. Who likes the idea of not having a choice? Do you? I do not think so. The ability to have a choice comes from God, he gave us free will. If you have family, you like to make best choices for your family. It is the same with God, he loves us and he wants the best for us. The author of the psalm today is freely asking God Your ways, O Lord, make known to me; teach me your paths, Guide me in your truth and teach me. In other words the author is asking for direction. Today and always you can ask God for directions freely through prayer, rosary, devotions, and through advent participation in the church. In writing this reflection, I want to point out the importance that there is a God who is waiting for you and willing to guide you. But if you decide to go against your own path, God gives you that freedom, because he loves you, he is always waiting for you. God works through events in the world, through words of the psalm, and through others. Today, we have another day and another choice. Fr.
