He Will Multiply Your Resources "Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness" (2 Corinthians 9:10, NAS) We serve a faithful God He is the God of more than enough! Not only does He promise to meet your needs, He promises to give you enough to meet the needs of others, too. When you are a sower when you give of your resources, your time, talent, finances and possessions God promises to multiply those resources so that you can continue to be a blessing to the people around you. You might look at what you have in your hand today and think, This doesn t look like much. But understand that when you give God what you have, He ll turn it into more than enough! The Bible tells us that Jesus fed a crowd of over 5,000 people by multiplying the Today, dedicate what you have to the Lord by faith. Ask Him where you should sow your seed so that you can be a blessing to others. As you do, He ll continue to pour out His blessing and abundance on you, and you will live fulfilled and satisfied all the days of your life. Prayer: Prayer Father in heaven, I dedicate everything that I have to You. Show me how I can be a blessing to others today. Thank You for Your abundant provision in every area of my life in Jesus name. Amen. 3 Women of the Church Banquet!!!!! The women of the church banquet will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 5:00pm. The men of our church will once again be in charge of this event and will do both the cooking and the serving. You don t want to miss the wonderful evening. Our next church breakfast will be on Saturday April 1st. Breakfast will be held from 8:00am until 11:00am. Please help if you can but make sure you come to eat and bring your family and friends with you. Please remember our clothing drop box used to collect clothes for people in need. The box is located in the parking lot of the church next to the utility shed. If you have clothing you wish to drop off, please place them in plastic bags and tie them up. 8 The benefit for Greg Stayer that was held on February 26 th at the Allegany Fire Hall netted over $60,000 with over 800 people attending. The response from the community was over whelming. April Giberson applied to the Dream Foundation requesting on the Stayer Family s behalf to request a family vacation in the Carolinas as Greg s last wish for his family. The Dream Foundation grants wishes to a person who is terminally ill and has less than a year to live. Thank you to all who supported this great cause. Thank you to April for all of her hard work making this benefit come to fruition!!!

9 FUTURE EVENTS FOR YOUR CALENDAR On May 25 th there will be a pulled pork dinner at our church. Please mark this on you calendars. More information as to the time and cost will be announced at a later date. PIE SALE AND YARD SALE Our Annual pie sale and yard sale will be held in conjunction with Portville Heritage days which will be on Saturday, July 15 th. The proceeds from our pie sale will once again go to the Portville Food Pantry. Pastor Clara of River s Edge Methodist church has graciously given us permission to use their lawn for the pie sale. The Yard sale will be at Bethel Lutheran. Be sure and start cleaning out and saving anything you don t wish to keep for our yard sale. Pie bakers start thinking of the kind of pie you want to make for our sale. CHICKEN BARBEQUE - SATURDAY, AUGUST 5 TH. Kurt and Caroline Miller in charge. We will be needing baskets for our silent auction as well as baked goods for our bake sale. Let s all step up and help the Millers make this a success as in years past. Thank you.

10 Dear colleagues in ministry, Please save the date Sunday, Sept. 10, when congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will again have the opportunity to gather together for God s work. Our hands. Sunday marks the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation. The ELCA s anniversary theme, Freed and Renewed in Christ, reminds us of the gospel s promise that we are freed in Christ to love and serve our neighbors. This is work that you do every day serving your community in ways that share the love of Christ with all of God s people. Whether we fill backpacks with needed school supplies, serve meals to those who are food insecure or write letters to soldiers and veterans, we are using our hands to do God s work to reconcile and restore communities in Jesus name throughout the world. Watch how some of our congregations and communities across the country put their faith into action during the 2016 day of service. The bright yellow God s work. Our hands. 14 The Otto Eldred Lady Terrors won the District 9 Class A quarterfinals against Elk Catholic and went on to play Northern Potter in the semi-finals. They won that game and moved on to the District 9 championship game against North Clarion. They lost that game but moved on to play West Green from southern Pennsylvania from District 7. They won that game and moved on to play Kennedy Catholic and lost that game. All these girls accomplished has never been done before in Otto-Eldred history. our girls can finish the sentence I will start.never forget who you are representing and always be humble and kind. Together we ve achieved great things. All these girls accomplished has never been done before in Ott-Eldred history. Alyssa Shelander (Bill and Judy Graves granddaughter) played on this team. Congratulations to Alyssa as well as Bill and Judy. Job well done. Coach Barb Close commented---.i m humbled by the togetherness our girls displayed on and off the court.
