In the last issue, we gave you an update on our building project, which had been stalled due to legal issues with the landowner association in which the church is located. We are pleased to announce that the Lord has answered every prayer that each of you has offered up to Him for the new building! After meeting with the association president at the end of April, it has been agreed that the church can continue to finish the building! We want to give all praise and glory to the Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for being faithful to us during this time of waiting. Since we were not able to secure funding from a local bank during this time, several members of our church family have offered personal financing for the project, which will need to be repaid as soon as possible. We have borrowed $78,000 to construct the exterior, and are asking that each of you consider a monthly gift, or a one time gift to help us eliminate this debt quickly for the kingdom of God! To date, the concrete pad has been poured and the framing of the walls is in progress. The roofing and exterior brickwork will be starting soon. Look on page 3 for some photographs that have been taken during the construction process. Once again, we give God all praise and glory for His faithfulness to us!

Hebrews 11:1-3 KJV 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Faith! Wow, what a topic. If you have been a Christian for any time at all and someone asks, what is faith, you probably quote Hebrews 11:1. But what does it really say? Faith is the substance, the essence, or abstractly assurance (objectively or subjectively): confidence, of things, an object (material): business, matter, thing, work, hoped for, the evidence proof, conviction: evidence, reproof, of things not seen behold, beware, lie, look (on, to), perceive, regard, see, sight, take heed. Still quite a mouth full. If you did not know what the Bible had to say about faith, how would you describe it, in your own words? I really love the definition of faith in the movie Miracle on 34 th Street when Susan s mother (Doris) tells her Faith is believing in something when common sense tells you not to. It really is hard to explain faith. I think that s why scientists have such a difficult time believing in creation verses the big bang theory. Science can t explain verse 3. By faith we accept that the world was framed or created by God s spoken word. Thus what we see, the world around us, was created by things we can t see and by materials that weren t here already because the world didn t yet exist. At least as we know it. John 1:1-3 gives us another perspective: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Jesus is the word. Always has been and always will be. I can t explain Him but I can feel His presence in my life. He made all things, period! Nothing that exists was created by anyone else. How do you explain FAITH JESUS. That s all! Don t Forget To Praise Him! Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Psalm 32:2

Our curriculum is designed to train and equip those called into the five-fold ministry as outlined in Ephesians 4: It is also ideal for individuals who wish to expand and enrich their personal walk with Christ through in-depth study of God s Word. Once our students have completed the fifteen course program, they will be thoroughly prepared and eligible for licensing thru Living Water Church and Ministry Training Center or equipped to seek licensing under their own Church affiliation. Each course is designed to provide our students with a firm foundation upon which to build their ministries. All students will be encouraged to use the gifts that they have received to serve others. (I Corinthians 12:4-7, Romans 12:4-8). Whether God has called you to full-time ministry or you seek to enrich your own personal studies, it is our privilege to offer this program to help you achieve your goals.
