3 Justification and Eternal Security Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him. Much more than what? Romans 5:6 answers, For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. The grace-filled decision to send a Saviour while man is entrenched in sin and at war with God (Ro 8:7...the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. ) more than guarantees its purpose: to deliver those who shall be saved from the Day of Wrath. We are justified by the blood of Jesus. Elsewhere too Paul says we have been justified by Christ and have been justified freely by grace. Ephesians 2:8 dictates unequivocally that we have been saved by grace through faith, and that it s a gift from God. Man needs the gifts of grace and faith to be saved. Being powerless to choose Christ without them, why should it be thought we are anymore able to maintain this salvation once saved? We can t, but Jesus can and He does! By inseparable union with Christ (Ro 6:5) the believer is eternally secure, his sin paid for and his justification certain, by Christ s blood alone, lest anyone should boast in his own works. If you are Christ s your salvation and eternal security is ALL through Him and His finished work, and you shall be saved from wrath through Him too. This is the glorious gospel of grace. 7 Grace: a most precious gift to share We all make mistakes. God s grace teaches me not to berate myself. And it is through the grace I have received that I have learned to give it, unconditionally and without limits. Haven t we all experienced difficult relationships, even within this body of Believers? Day-by-day, year-on-year, we grow in our ability to handle others with grace. But why is it so important that we love each other, to keep short accounts with one another, to forgive and demonstrate grace rather than condemnation, even toward those with whom we experience disagreement, misunderstanding or head-on conflict? We surrender to God our hostility and hurt, replacing them with grace, so that the world will recognize God in and through our unity. Does it mean we are doormats to abusers and accusers? No. But we follow God s Spirit, remaining in unity, earnestly seeking to resolve our differences in love, discovering common ground, and allowing the LORD to teach, convict and resolve the issues that need His wisdom and discernment. In the Complete Jewish Bible* translation of Galatians 3:26-28 it reads, For in union with the Messiah, you are all children of God through this trusting faithfulness; because as many of you as were immersed into the Messiah have clothed yourselves with the Messiah, in whom there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor freeman, neither male nor female; for in union with the Messiah Yeshua, you are all one. We are all one in Christ. Therefore, if there is any disharmony, it disturbs the entire pool. Let us swim in the waters together, accepting our differences and uniqueness, recognizing the joy we bring to the Body, and to the world, and to our LORD, when we do. 8 Charity Commission finds no loss of charitable funds After a thorough investigation of Revelation Foundation over nine months, the Charity Commission has identified no loss or misappropriation of charitable funds by the trustees. The day to day operations of Revelation Foundation have continued throughout, without interference from the Charity Commission and no criticism has been made of programme content or production. The Charity Commission has noted the legal and accounting complexities of Revelation Foundation s activities in the UK and Spain and has appointed an accountant to act as an interim manager to work with the trustees to resolve issues relating to the legal and accounting procedures of Revelation Foundation and its associated Spanish companies. The trustees have nothing to hide and welcome this appointment and will draw upon the expertise of the accountant and his team to ensure the public have full assurance as to the work of the trust. Interview with Kelvin Crombie 1st July at 12.30pm Join Simon Barrett as he interviews Australian born Kelvin Crombie about his new documentary and book Gallipoli the Road to Jerusalem. Kelvin discusses his life and how the Second World War had a big impact upon his life and especially on his childhood growing up in the Australian Outback and it was his interest in military history that led him to Israel where he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. Kelvin s latest work is to tell the remarkable story of the failure of the allies Gallipoli Campaign against the Ottoman Turks in World War One, how this military defeat led to the liberation of Jerusalem and shows the sovereign hand of God at work to bring about His plans and purposes in preparing to re-establish the nation of Israel. This programme is specially relevant as we have just remembered the 100th Anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign.

9 THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO 200 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Saturday 11 th July at 6pm This month we meet with Colonel Patrick Mercer OBE, former Conservative MP, about his life and his passion for military history especially his interest and expertise in the Napoleonic wars. Patrick will be discussing the importance of the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo in which the British General the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon. He will also discuss how this battle changed the history and destiny of Europe. British victory at the Battle of Waterloo meant that Napoleon s ambitions of creating a French dominated Europe would come to an end and that Britain would become the world s greatest power. We hope that you enjoy this educational and historical programme.
