3 The professor is like a walking, talking, reference library Dr. Felicity Corbin-Wheeler THURSDAY 1 ST FEBRUARY AT 7PM This is the latest documentary in my series of interviews I call VOICES FROM ISRAEL. I interviewed Professor Alex Carmel who at the time was a professor at Carmel University, Haifa, Israel. Professor Alex shares about the last five hundred years of the history of the Middle East, when it was known as Palestine, and for the last 70 years, when the the state of Israel became a reality. He talks about the main players involved in the return of the Jews to Israel - people such as Theodore Hertz, William Hechler and the Church Mission to the Jews in the 19th century, as well as Lord Balfour in the 20th century. Howard Conder Founder This particular documentary with Professor Alex Carmel is quite different to other guests interviewed for this series. The professor is like a walking, talking, reference library and a must-watch for those who want a more in-depth study programme at a higher academic level than I had from my 20 of each ticket will go towards the Building Fund previous guests.

7 JOIN THE REVELATION TV PRAYER FORCE Alongside the prayer team and intercessors at Revelation TV, we are recruiting 168 volunteers that will be dedicated and committed to take up the challenge. The prayer force will serve the purpose to carry out prayers for Revelation TV especially for breakthroughs and victory against the ongoing attacks towards the station and all who are part of it. The prayer line aims to recruit at least 168 volunteers who will make up the Prayer Force where each person agrees to have an hour each per week praying for Revelation TV. Communication between Revelation TV Prayer Force and Revelation TV will be facilitated mainly by or telephone where we share specific prayer needs for the station and testimonies as agreed by Revelation TV management. In addition to we can record and share short videos with the prayer request and testimonies of breakthroughs to prayer warriors of the Revelation TV Prayer Force. 8 HAPPY BIRTHDAY REVELATION TV FIFTEEN YEARS AND COUNTING As viewers began to see the importance of having a TV station dedicated to proclaiming God s Word in a fresh relevant way they began to stand with the Channel Fifteen years old. How would you describe them? Neither a cild, yet not an adult. Parents will recognize that troublesome in-between stage that many teenagers go through. Revelation TV will be fifteen years old on February 14th. We trust we are not too troublesome, but we see the signs of growth and development that the teens bring. It was 12 noon, Valentine s Day 2003, that Howard Conder sat down in a tiny studio in Cleveland Street in the centre of London and declared, This is Revelation TV. We are broadcasting live from London What a journey those 15 years have been! During February there will be a number of programmes dedicated to sharing how God has taken and shaped Revelation TV over the years. The station nearly died at birth as Howard and Lesley s personal resources came to an end, and they had to be dependent upon the Lord. As viewers began to see the importance of having a TV station dedicated to proclaiming God s Word in a fresh relevant way they began to stand with the Channel, and give financially to the Charity set up to support the TV station. Throughout the years Revelation TV has not compromised on standing true to the Word of God. It has sought to set a high standard in television. It has made programmes, and held debates and discussions that are provocative to viewers, so they are challenged in their faith. A fifteen-year-old doesn t want to stand still and neither do we at Revelation TV. There is much work to do in the future for the Lord. Please do join us as we walk this journey together. 16 TOTAL FUNDS RAISED SO FAR (At time of print) 28 TH FEBRUARY AT 9PM Foundations are very important. Without them buildings would collapse. Jesus talks about foundations in his Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 5-7, He talks about the wise man who built his house on a rock, and a foolish man who built his house on sand, and because of that it fell flat. Revelation s International Centre has now reached the stage where the concrete has been poured in and the foundations are in place. We asked in December s R Times for viewers to send in verses of Scripture that we could place into the foundations. Many of you sent in verses such as Upon this rock I will build my church (Matthew 16:180 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 3:11) Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it (Psalm 127:1) They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion which cannot be removed but abide forever (Psalm 125:1) As the concrete was poured in, the papers with the verses written on were scattered around the foundations. Our prayer is for solid foundations both physically and spiritually. May all who hear the Words proclaimed by Revelation TV from their new premises be like the seed sown on good ground and bear much fruit.
