Choir News CHRISTMAS PROGRAM is scheduled for Thursday, December 20 at 7 pm in the church. If your child is in 2nd-8th grade and in music class this semester, he/she is REQUIRED to attend. The St. Pius Boys Choir and The Angelics are also performing and are required to attend. Girl Scouts!! Page 3 of 6 Girl scouts has recently been approved as an active and registered ministry on campus. A representative from Girl Scouts of North East Texas is expected to speak briefly about scouting at SPX at our November 13 th PTO meeting. There are currently four troops at SPX covering 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, and 8 th grade. The Daisy Troop (1st grade) has space for additional first graders. The possibility of an April/May 2013 camp out at Camp Whispering Cedars (Dallas) is being discussed covering multiple SPX troops. If you are interested, please contact SPX s girl scout liaison Dolores Wolfe at wolfe.dolores@dol.gov. Please don t forget to support your girl scouts during cookie season in January 2013!
