To date we have raised $875 toward our goal through the support of 7 households. There is still time to respond with a gift to this year s Appeal. Yes, you can watch a favorite program together, but beware of TV or videos stealing time from playing together. PARENTING POINTERS Sick this Week Annie McDuffie If you are aware of a parishioner who is ill, please get their permission to have their name printed on the sick list, and inform the parish office. On All Souls' Day (Nov. 2) we remember those who have died. Death can be scary, especially to children. Honor those you know who have died. Perhaps try a dinner prayer like, "Dear God, we thank you for the life of who taught us to. Include pets if you wish. All who are not receiving Holy Communion are encouraged to express in their hearts a prayerful desire for unity with the Lord Jesus and with one another.

Thanks - Social Concerns Outreach Conversations For the November episode of Conversations with Archbishop Kurtz, Chancellor Dr. Brian Reynolds and Archbishop Kurtz discuss the theology of abundance and explain the relationship between the Archdiocese and parishes. Dr. Reynolds also joins Archbishop Kurtz in the guest segment to talk about the new Archdiocese of Louisville Pastoral Center. Conversations is on the Faith Channel (Spectrum channel19 for those with a cable box; channel for boxless Spectrum cable; and Spectrum digital channel 279) on Tues. at 7 p.m., Wed. at 10 a.m., Fri. at 7 p.m., and Sat. at 4 p.m. It is heard on radio stations WLCR 1040 AM, Breadbox Media, and WLHN 95.3 FM in Meade County. In addition, Conversations can be downloaded for no charge through itunes.
