4 Community Life SUNDAY JUNE 18TH Qurbono (Liturgy) 8:00 and 11:00 AM Divine Mercy Chaplet at 10:40 AM TUESDAY JUNE 20TH Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM followed by the Qurbono (Divine Liturgy) at 5:30 PM. Adoration will resume at 6:00 PM and will conclude with the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. SUNDAY JUNE 25TH Qurbono (Liturgy) 8:00 and 11:00 AM Divine Mercy Chaplet at 10:40 AM Second Collection: Peter s Pence FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL A big thank you for all who volunteered and worked hard to make our participation at the 46th Annual Texas Folklife Festival successful. May God bless all of you abundantly. BE READY FOR THE LITURGY Join us every Sunday at 10:40 AM as we prepare ourselves to participate in the Liturgy and pray the Rosary. And, on the last Sunday of every month, to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. We will be praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet during the month of June that is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Winners Need Not Be Present. For more information, please see Deborah Fernandez. ADOPT A LIGHT CAMPAIGN We are in the process of changing the outdoor lighting in the church to LED lighting. This will provide us a better lighting at night around the church and will cut our electrical bill significantly. The cost of the project is $10, and we still need to raise $2, Everyone is invited to participate at a level that is meaningful to them. We thank you in advance for your support and generosity. LAS CASINO NIGHT The LAS will have their Casino Night Fundraiser on Saturday July 15, Tickets are $60.00 per person and includes a meal, casino money and great prizes. For more information on how you can help or buy your tickets, please contact the church office at or any of the LAS officers. THEOLOGY ON TAP We will be having a Young Adult Theology on tap series. Theology on Tap is a great way to connect with friends while we explore our needs, questions, and interests about life, truth, and faith. All young adults age are invited to be part of this program to discover how faith can give sense to their everyday lives in a comfortable, relaxed setting. Our first Theology on Tap session will be on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the church office. Bring your questions and a dish, a dessert, or a drink to share. All young adults are welcomed to join us for fellowship and conversation. SECOND COLLECTION Next week, our second collection will be for Peter s Pence, which provides Pope Francis with the funds he needs to carry out his charitable works around the world. The proceeds benefit our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and disasters. Please be generous.
