We echo John the Baptist s exclamation: Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29) Communion All are invited to commune with us. Please come to the altar as directed by the ushers. Receive a piece of bread, and either dip the bread into the first chalice or drink from the second chalice. The bread is gluten-free; the wine has alcohol. If you do not take communion but would like a blessing, please cross your arms across your chest as you come forward. Our theme this year is Shipwrecked. We are searching for any Hawaiian, Buffet Head stuff or tropical items for the décor. If you have anything we can use, please contact Pastor Rosy. Thanks! LAST WEEK you all filled out index cards about your impressions of the stained glass window. They are all displayed in the Fellowship Hall on the black science board. Stop by to read them today. VISITING OR FORGOT YOUR ENVELOPE? No worries! Now located in the back of each hymnal is an extra sleeve which contains a giving envelope. Prayerfully consider your gift today! BIBLES are now available for worship. If you d prefer to read the text using a Bible, you may use one for worship; however, please return them after worship to the rack provided. PICTORAL directories have been given out. If you had your picture taken or submitted a photo and have not yet picked up your copy, please stop by the Welcome Desk. ONLY FAMILIES who had their pictures taken may have one or you can purchase one from the church office. COFFEE AND CORINTHIANS Bible study will be every Wednesday at Lakeview Park, Pavilion #4, led by Pastor Rosy. Bring your coffee and Bible and come join us at 8:30am until August 15 (no class August 1 & 8). LAST CHANCE to pick up your giving statements. Please stop by the Welcome Desk to pick yours up today. KEY FOB and building access. A new policy from Property Committee effective immediately: the only people who should have key fob access are staff, current council members, current committee/ organizational chairs or reps and sound technicians. If you have a key fob and are NOT on this list, please turn them in immediately. All non eligible key fobs will be deactivated by August 1. PLEASE REMEMBER that open beverage containers are NOT allowed in the sanctuary. All containers must be sealed. Thank you for helping us keep our sanctuary beautiful. COMMUNITY IMPACT for June. We served 272 meals at Front Door, assisted 188 families with emergency assistance. Assisted 163 clients with emergency food. We served 142 families at pantry and served 155 hot meals. Your continued support is appreciated.
