Offering Prayer Assisting Minister: Let us pray Merciful God, as grains of wheat scattered upon the hills were gathered together to become one bread, so let your church be gathered together from the ends of the earth into your kingdom, for yours is the glory through Jesus Christ, now and forever. Amen. Great Thanksgiving (Presiding minister greets the assembly and invites all present to give thanks.) The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise. 5

6 Preface Presiding Minister: It is indeed right... and join their unending hymn: Eucharistic Prayer Blessed are you, O holy God: you are the Life and Light of all. By your powerful word you created all things. Through the prophets you called your people to be a light to the nations. 6 Blessed are you for Jesus, your Son. He is your Light, shining in our darkness and revealing to us your mercy and might. In the night in which he was betrayed, By your Spirit bless us and this meal, that, refreshed with this heavenly food, we may be light for the world, revealing the brilliance of your Son.

7 Through him all glory and honor is yours, Almighty God, with the Holy Spirit, in your holy Church, both now and forever. Amen Lord s Prayer Presiding Minister: Gathered into one by the Holy Spirit, let us pray as Jesus taught us: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever. Amen. Invitation to Communion Everyone who hungers, come to the table. Eat what is good, that you may live. Communion Please come forward as the ushers direct. You will be given bread. You may eat the bread and drink; or intinct (dip) in the large cup and eat. The silver cup has wine; the oversize pottery cup has grape juice. Pastor has gluten free wafers if you need, just ask. After you commune, feel free to kneel at the altar rail in silent prayer. As we gather around our own tables in the days ahead, might we be reminded of this table, where all are welcome, and love abounds. Amen. Sending Blessing Presiding Minister: May the peace of the Lord Christ go with us, wherever He may send us, May He guide us through the wilderness, protect us through the storm.
