Through our stewardship we sow good seeds on earth to ultimately help each other get to Heaven! Food Kitchen In June we served 323 diners! St. Ann serves every 4 th Monday of the month and consistently serves more than any other organization volunteering at the food kitchen. Our next opportunity to serve our hungry guests at the food kitchen in Kansas City, Kansas is this Monday, July 24 th. Once again, the need is for boneless hams (they will be sliced at the food kitchen), au gratin potatoes (3 boxes to a pan), and fresh and canned fruit. Your donations of these items would be greatly appreciated. Bring donations to the north parking lot between 8:30 and 10 am Monday. Keith s Healing Lord Jesus Christ, through your Incarnation you became a human like all others and therefore you were in need of a human mother and a father to aide and safe-keep you, as you grew in wisdom and strength (Lk 2:52). St. Joseph was given to you as your foster father. In living out his fatherly role, he protected, guided, taught and above all, loved you as you passed from boyhood to manhood. Hear the prayers of St. Joseph. By his intercession, may Fr. Keith receive the protection and love of our Heavenly Father, just as you did through his fatherly care during your years in the house of Nazareth. St. Joseph, father and guardian of Jesus, and mine too, pray for Fr. Keith and obtain for him the grace of complete healing. Teach me, as you taught Jesus; protect me as you protected Mary; provide for me as you provided for your family throughout the humble and simple days of Nazareth. Amen. Scout Pack 3098, serving St. Ann and St. Agnes Parishes, is looking for adult volunteers. There are several openings ranging from administrative to more hands on interaction with other Scout leaders, Scouts and their activities. The position is a hour per week position and requires a flexible work schedule (select evenings and weekends). The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, have database/data entry experience, have the ability to multitask, have good communication and organizational skills, and work well with volunteers.
