Here are the ways you can help: Candy Donations: please bring small, individually wrapped, and allergy free candy for our egg hunt. We hide roughly 2000 eggs! Wow! That means we need lots of candy. A collection bin will be in the Fellowship Hall beginning today. Stuff Eggs: We ll have a stuffing eggstravaganza after Dinner with Disciples on April 14th. Join us for the whole night (5pm) or starting around 6pm. Day-Of Help: We need folks to help us set up, run stations, and clean up on April 20th (the day of). Sign up to help in the Fellowship Hall! DINNER WITH DISCIPLES: TONIGHT A Meal and Worship Experience for Holy Week 5-6:30 Tonight Join us for an event combining food from the time of Jesus and experiential worship. We ll share dinner banquet-style, breaking bread and eating food prepared from first century Palestinian recipes (plus pass around potluck finger food dishes brought by you!). Throughout the night, we ll walk through the events of Jesus s final days in a creative, family-friendly worship experience that will prepare young and old for the sweeping lows and highs of Holy Week. Sign up in the Fellowship Hall, or just come! LAROSA S FUNDRAISER WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24! Help support our youth summer trip to Puerto Rico with some pizza from LaRosa s! Eat at LaRosa s in Edgewood on April 24th and they will donate 10% of the proceeds to Lakeside! VISIT MT. AUBORN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH The ongoing series of field trips called Sacred Spaces provides enriching visits to regional religious venues. There will be another event Saturday, April 27. We will visit Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, which is one of the more historic churches in the Presbytery of Cincinnati. Their history team will host us through their beautiful sanctuary (including Tiffany windows) and art gallery. We will meet at Lakeside's parking lot at 9:30 a.m. to carpool to Mt. Auburn. Everyone is welcome. EASTER FLOWERS On Easter Sunday we ll be surrounded by beautiful spring flowers in our Sanctuary. If you would like to dedicate a plant in honor of or in memory of a loved one, there are envelopes available in Fellowship Hall. Please mark on the dedication if you would like to take your plant home with you after the 11 am Easter service. The cost is $14 per dedication. Please include your contribution in the envelope. Dedications must be received by Thursday, April 18. EWEN S LAST SUNDAY Ewen s last Sunday will be Easter Sunday, April 21st. The personnel committee will provide cake in the Fellowship Hall and thank you cards for you to sign between services and after the 11am service. Please join us in letting Ewen know how thankful we have been for him helping us through this transition these past few months!
