By the sacred anoin ng and the prayer of the priest, the whole church commends those who are sick to Christ. INVEST IN OUR YOUTH Sr. Marcella, also known as Sr. Liguori, had a powerful personality. She was a very involved member of St. Benedict parish and was instrumental as an advisor and confidant of Fr. Benson when the parishes of St. Mary and St. Benedict merged. She was passionate about her Catholic faith. She loved the poor and saw Christ in everyone. In 2010 a scholarship fund was established to honor her memory and con nue her devo on to and support of our Catholic youth. Students who are ac ve members of the parishes of St. Mary/St. Benedict, St. Anthony/All Saints, and Christ the Servant are eligible to apply. The applica on may be obtained through the Parish Office You can make a dona on to the fund by mailing a check to the parish office or pu ng your dona on into an envelope labeled Sister Marcella Scholarship.
