5 ANNOUNCEMENTS A Message from the Stewardship Committee Now into the world is more than a phrase from a prayer, it is a way of sharing from all the gifts we have been given, by taking them out to share with others. It is our hope that those who have not filled out a pledge card will prayerfully consider making this year the time when you make that financial commitment to the mission and ministry of St. Christopher s. HVAC Project Update The HVAC replacement project for the main sanctuary building, which is part of our capital campaign, will be starting soon. The air handling equipment has been shipped from a manufacturing plant in Texas. Installation of the air handling and air conditioning system will start on Monday, November 12th, and the work will take about two weeks to complete. During the installation, the lower parking lot will be closed for a couple of days during the week. While the air handling equipment is being installed, there will not be any heat in the sanctuary building, including the Sunday services on November 18th. The good news is that we will have a new, more energy efficient HVAC system soon. Thank you for your patience and we will provide any project updates as they develop. John Olsen, Chris Erbe, Bob Hall Preschool Yankee Candle Fundraiser Candles are such a fitting fundraiser for our little school! When the children sing "This Little Light of Mine" during Chapel, they are like candles - glowing and hopeful. The Preschool will receive 40% of the sales and funds raised will go towards much needed repairs for our playground and for enrichment! If you love beautiful candles and accessories and need to do a little Christmas shopping, consider our Yankee Candle sale. Orders can be made through December and shipped directly to you.
