Bill Rich, and others for lemonade and an update on news of the parish. On Sun., June 18, hundreds of parishioners and well-wishers gathered for the Celebration of the Ministry of Sam Lloyd and the conclusion of the How Firm a Foundation campaign, complete with a cake in the shape of Trinity Church. Children s Homily and Childcare offered during 10 am service. Childcare is available for infants and pre-schoolers in the Nursery located on the second floor of the Parish House in Tapestry Hall. Children in K 5th grades worship with their families; they may leave before the sermon for the Children s Homily and return at the Peace. Following up on the Taizé St. Louis Pilgrimage of Trust, the teens who participated will share their experiences in a panel discussion. The Pilgrimage of Trust in St. Louis brought hundreds of young people from all over the country and around the world together in shared prayer, meals, and discussion around racial injustice and oppression. No prior construction experience is necessary except knowing the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver! We will meet on the Clarendon porch and drive to the worksite where we will work until 3:30pm, with a lunch break at noon. If you don t have a car, don t worry we ll figure it out; if you do have a car, please be willing to carpool. Help individuals in prison obtain their B.A. from BU as a mentor for Trinity s College Behind Bars program. Volunteers make one visit with a partner every two-to-three months until the student graduates, and also write letters and do online research between visits, as needed, to support the inmate s studies. Training is provided, and Team members support one another as well as the inmate.
