GOLDEN TREASURES BUS TRIP Christ the King Parish Golden Treasures committee is planning a bus trip to Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday, November 29, The parish bus will be leaving at 4:30 PM (EST) from the Spiritual Life Center. We will be traveling to Golden Corral in Louisville to eat about 6:00 PM and after the meal will be driving thru Mega Caverns to see millions of Christmas Lights under Louisville. The cost is $30.00 a person for meal, admission to caverns, and transportation. Reservations can be made by calling Darla Laake at by Friday, November 16 th! We will be cleaning up the flower beds and maybe planting perennials. Please bring gloves, clippers, rakes, etc. If you have any hosta, peony or astilbe plants that need to be divided, we d love to have your extras! This means you would be responsible for planting and caring for your flower bed during the growing season, except for watering. First choice will be given to those already maintaining a bed. We re announcing this now so parishioners can check out the beds and see what is already growing and what works well. You can choose the annuals you want to plant in your bed.
