V I like to talk and ask my professor questions that I'm curios about and someone who owing I like the three separate contents requirement, I originally wanted to soley study U.S since branched out and really like all the fields I've chosen and learned a more globa yo took classes in one foreign language, but I would think it might be valuable to require languages instead of just one. Or maybe require a class taught by history faculty tha language documents read in the original language. Anyway, I liked the foreign langu I was less fond of the field and period requirements. I don't think that I disagree wit those requirements and I certainly enjoyed and learned from the classes that I took requirements, but I also felt that they may have made it harder to pursue deep know fi I like how we have to choose certain regions of the world. It mixes things up and I e r e check out other places i dont have much time for, like japan and the far east. the lan definitely understand, however, i do think that the history major department should r outside of the history department; i think it would be good to expand out into other r philosophy or geography, or even a little poly sci, depending what focus you are doi seem contradictory, but on the OTHER hand, i like how the major requirements don through a bunch of hoops to get to other classes (pre-reqs, etc.) and take fairly irre mentioned how it would be cool if the requirements for history dipped into other field I emjoy the elective courses because I can take many European. I know I personally loved the Witch class, and I have had friends who took a history of the 1960s and loved it. Classes put a different perspective on the world intrigue people more than general classes. As stated above, I would like more courses in Latin American history, as well as mo Middle East. I also wish the Middle East was considered a separte field and was n I would like to learn if there is a kind of class could discuss the economy developme or the scientific factor behind the histoy. Because according to some ideas, such like the history development is driven by the economic advancement. I would like to have Sports history should be an offered course! Also, there should be more resources fo development as a history major (i.e. internships, job postings, seminars, networking We need to have more African history courses!
