3 STAR-GAZING DINNER 25 DECEMBER 7-10 pm For a memorable Christmas dinner, there is no more dramatic venue than the resort s rooftop lotus pond, seemingly floating above the Sayan Valley at eye-level with towering treetops. Savor a delectable 4-course meal amidst the dramatic reflections and panoramic views of the surrounding forest that cascades down to the Ayung River. INDONESIAN RIJSTAFFEL 26 DECEMBER 6-10 pm Meaning rice table in Dutch, rijsttafel dates back to the Dutch colonial period and is a banquet-style dining experience. The evening begins with a spectacular Balinese dance performance followed by a meal of some 40 dishes from various regions of Indonesia, served family-style at your table by a parade of traditionally dressed ladies. The fun continues at Pici Pici Kids Club with festive sweets and gifts, and a photographer to take photos with Santa. UBUD NIGHT 28 DECEMBER 7-10 pm An insightful evening into the art, food and culture of the Ubud village awaits you. This special event features cuisine normally reserved for important festivals and ceremonies in Balinese-Hindu life, including a fresh Ubud-style suckling pig prepared over an open wood fire. The experience is enhanced with a selection of freshly grilled items cooked over a live charcoal grill. Bebek Betutu, Balinese roast duck, is not to be missed.
