1 INDIGO UMBRELLA NEWSLETTER MAY 2018 Hello Indigos May Day. What does that mean to you? Once upon a time long ago, it was a time of a Spring-to-Summer Festival - remember dancing around the Maypole; Morris Men and the May Queen? A chance to have a party on the village green, to enjoy the sunshine after a long winter. The Socialists adopted it as International Workers Day or Labour Day, to celebrate the achievements of (primarily manual) workers, and to mark the 8-hour working day. Yes, in theory, it should be 8 hours of work, 8 hours of recreation and 8 hours of rest. The practice of that nowadays is another story in itself. Then we have May Day May Day, the international distress signal, derived apparently from the French m aidez (I m sure my French teacher would have preferred aidez-moi! but who am I?). What s the point? The point is that there have always been a number of realities, and even in something as trivial as May Day, how you see it, how you mark it (if at all) depends on your reality. And what shapes our reality? It s the sum total of our programming and our experiences; the people we spend time with and where our own curiosity leads us. You are probably all familiar with these optical illusions - do you see a vase or two faces? A duck or a rabbit? It all depends on how you look at them. There is a vase and there are two faces. There is a duck and there is a rabbit. It is all real but sometimes, we only see one part of the whole picture (it does help to step back a little). There are many levels of reality and, as the vibrations continue to change, as we go through this time of transition, we may well Qind ourselves experiencing different realities. Several people - teachers, leaders and wisdom keepers - have spoken of the likelihood of stepping into neighbouring realities, even if only for a few moments. Some are reaching other realities at an inner level, an ability to expand their consciousness and allow themselves to experience the pure love and joy that exists when we are able to leave behind the earthly overcoat of Ego. How you personally experience this shift, this change, is entirely up to you. Literally. It will be whatever you decide it will be. The rule seems to be that the more you try to force it, the more it won t happen. Relax. Allow. Trust. Go with the Flow. The poor old Ego has been in control for so long it will be tough for it to let go, but let go it must. It s had its day. Stand back and look at the bigger picture, Indigos. See the vase and the faces. See the duck and the rabbit. Accept that it is all real, all at once. Decide whether you would prefer to celebrate having to work hard, or whether you would rather celebrate life itself. Nobody can tell you what choices to make - but choose you must. If you don t you could well be in the May Day May Day lifeboat, and that is not a good place to be! Love Jude x

2 WHAT YOU MISSED ELAINE THOMPSON - TALK Elaine s talk was fascinating, eye-opening and totally inspirational. She shared with us her personal story of how it all started for her as a young child with a vision; how her relationships with various extraterrestrials have developed over the years, and how they are encouraging us as we move towards those higher vibrations. Elaine is a talented artist, which means she has been able to produce paintings of the various extraterrestrial races she has been introduced to - what a varied bunch they are (but then, they probably think the same about us!) - and the love and compassion shone through every illustration. ELAINE THOMPSON - WORKSHOP All I can say is - Wow! If you did not come along to Elaine s workshop, you should be kicking yourself. It was so interesting to understand the science behind her Voice Analysis / Sound Therapy system, and to hear stories of the many people and varied issues that she has resolved, just by analysing someone s voice. After lunch volunteers had their voices analysed, and we could all see the different patterns made by different people and hear Elaine s general comments (nothing too personal). THE GOOD NEWS - ELAINE IS COMING BACK! We have checked diaries and Elaine has found a space at the end of June to come back to this part of the world. If you would like to have a private session with Elaine, please let me know in the Qirst instance. I will keep the master list and make the necessary arrangements. Nothing has been sorted out re venue or precise dates - I will keep you posted. But if you would like a one-to-one session with Elaine (and I can highly recommend it) then please put your name on the list. WHAT S COMING UP The Saturday event - dedicated to those who are already affected by Electrosensitivity (ES) - has sold out, while there are still more than 20 places available for the Sunday event, aimed at those who would like to know more. ES people are travelling from Wales, Cumbria and East Anglia to listen to these scientists, to share their stories and their experiences, and to get answers to their particular questions. This tells me that people are not interested, don t want to know, until it hits them. And then they are desperate. Because I feel so strongly about this (and because I am the organiser, so I can!), I am making a special last-minute offer to those who would like to come but feel that 50 is too much to pay for such an event. I am offering 12 tickets at just 25 each to the Nirst ones that get in touch - and if that doesn t tempt you, then I don t know what will!

3 WHAT S COMING UP SUNDAY 15th JULY: LISTENING TO YOUR SPIRIT GUIDES with CANDACE CADDICK One of the most popular workshops last year was Listening to your Spirit Guides with Candace Caddick. During the day, Candace and her angelic helpers - gave information, advice and lots of encouragement to those who wanted to learn how to listen and channel. How can we tell the difference between our own imagination and wisdom from higher realms? How can we make a connection to spirit guides? How can we learn to channel their messages? No previous experience of channelling is necessary to join this workshop. SUNDAY 15th JULY, 10am - 4pm-ish FOREST ROW COMMUNITY CENTRE, HARTFIELD ROAD, RH18 5DZ Fee is 50 for the day. Bring your own lunch; light refreshments will be provided. The list is now open - book your place now! SUMMER IN SEDGWICK PARK - ANY TAKERS? In the April reminder letter, I invited you to a summer PICNIC IN THE PARK at Sedgwick Park, on Saturday 28th July. A purely social event, perhaps with a couple of informal talks, but primarily a day to mingle with like-minded souls in the lovely chemical-free gardens at this beautiful manor house. Price tag would be 15 maximum to cover venue hire. I also asked if anyone would be interested in a full-day workshop on GEOPATHIC STRESS and EARTH ACUPUNCTURE with Geomancer RICHARD CREIGHTMORE, who is talking on those topics at the WAVES conference in September. This would be held in the gardens of Sedgwick Park on Sunday 29th July, fee to be 60 for the day, with a minimum of 12 people and a maximum of 20. So far, I have only had two positive replies. If you would like to join in one or the other, please do let me know. If there is no interest, I shall release the booking, as I know that Sedgwick is fully booked every weekend from now until the end of the summer.

Look at the line-up of speakers - some names you will know from Indigo events, others may be new to you, but they will blend together to make a magical three days. The energy and positivity around this event is just lovely, and I am really looking forward to it. I am delighted that Andrew Collins has found space in his busy schedule to share his wisdom about ancient civilisations with us. He is currently featured on the Ancient Civilisations series on Gaia. He responded to my approach from his recent visit to Egypt, and he is soon off to USA for the launch of his latest book The Cygnus Key. Andrew will be talking about this, and much more, on the last day of the conference - Other Dimensions, Other Beings. 5 REGULAR MEET-UPS BREKKY The regular Indigo Brekky is on the Qirst Tuesday of the month, in the private room at the Harvester at Beech Hurst Gardens, Butler s Green Road, Haywards Heath RH16 4BB, 10am - 12 noon. No set agenda, no charge, no need to book up - just turn up, order (and pay for!) your own breakfast, and join a lovely, lively group of like-minded souls. The conversation will meander across the spectrum of science, spirituality and much more - but always with the basic house rules, please - be nice, respect each other, don t interrupt conversations. Next Brekkies are: Tuesday 1st May; Tuesday 5th June; Tuesday 3rd July, Tuesday 7th August.. DISCUSSION GROUP - NOTE CHANGES Our regular discussion group is held on the third Friday of the month, 10am to mid-day or so. The venue will change: if we are having a standard discussion group with no special speaker, we will meet at the Harvester in Beech Hurst Gardens, Haywards Heath. If there is a special speaker, we will meet at Sedgwick Park House. Next discussion group dates are: Friday 18th May; Friday 15th June; Friday 20th July, Friday 17th August. No special speaker organised for May, so we shall be meeting at the Harvester, Haywards Heath. I am hoping that Candace might join us for June to talk about her work and her workshop. 6 BACK PAGE THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM The elephant in the room - an obvious problem or risk that nobody wants to discuss, or an obvious situation that nobody wants to challenge. It was Jude Currivan who reminded me of that phrase a few weeks ago when I interviewed her ahead of the WAVES conference. I asked if quantum science was Qinally catching up with and making scientiqic sense of ancient wisdom. She said that quantum science on its own was not doing that, although it was explaining a lot. The elephant in the room, she said is consciousness. Scientists had never taken it into account, and even now that they (somewhat reluctantly) acknowledge its existence, they are unsure what to do about it. As I talk to other teachers and healers, the messages I get from all of them are the same: clear out your emotional baggage! and, equally importantly, this is the time to look after yourself rather than other people. Follow your path, don t be side-tracked by social, family or peer pressure into situations of doing the right thing if that is not right for you. Elaine Thompson was saying just that at her talk and her workshop last weekend. Seems harsh, doesn t it? SelQish even. It reminds me of the airline safety routine - put on your own oxygen mask before helping other people. We need to lighten up, literally - lighten the load, so that we can start to match those higher vibrations. And we can t do that if we are tethered down by negative stuff. For many of us (and I include myself in this) it means acknowledging and dealing with the elephant in the room, whatever that is. This time of enormous change is presenting us with opportunities to face our deepest fears, those sides of us that we usually keep hidden because they are not quite nice. To face them and own them; to heal traumas and wounds, and to release the negative emotions around them. Only then can we move on. Part of the healing process is to Qill all of the spaces that were brimming over with fear, anger, jealousy, resentment or childhood conditioning and programming, with love and an understanding that it is your absolute right to be happy and joyful. You need to Qind the real you, the one buried under all that stuff. Can you see how this is true at a wider level too? Across the spectrum of The Establishment, from celebrities to corporations, from politics to religion and Qinancial institutions, the elephants are trumpeting - demanding to be seen and heard and released, offering opportunities to change the way things are done, the way people are treated, to resolve and heal old wounds. It is not always an easy process or a comfortable one. It will rock your boat, it will tip you out of your comfort zone. It may even trigger some serious life changes. Listen to your heart, Indigos, make friends with the elephant in your room and then let it go: you ll be very glad you did!
