3 Summer Camp Fun Begins Now! Cub Scout Camping Wild, Wild West Summer Camp Join us at Camp Lassen this summer for a Wild, Wild West action-packed adventure! Activities will include BB Guns, archery, wrist rockets, camp craft, climbing, boating, swimming & more. Special Webelos activities will be offered. Plus, Bears and Webelos can earn their Whittling Chip. Let s build memories at the campfires, during camp wide events, and stargazing fun. Be sure to secure your spot and register today!! Then get your Pack ready for camp by developing Wild, Wild West theme-oriented skits, songs, flags, and attire. 8 Unit Leaders, NR Klondike It's time already!! It's time to start planning for the 2017 Klondike! Registration is up and running, so now is the time to start planning with your units! Northern Rivers District, along with the Wintun Chapter of the Order of the Arrow, have already been busy little bees planning the 2017 Klondike, which will be held on February 24-26, 2017, at Eskimo Hill! This event will happen - snow (hopefully!), rain, or shine! There will be fun events, some new and some of the regulars, along with a fun theme, which will be announced in the Leader Guide! The Leader Guide will be available soon, so keep an eye out for it. It will be ed out as soon as it's finalized. And as always, there will be camping! Webelos are welcome to come spend the day on Saturday and participate in the events, as well! The cost for this event is $15 per Scout or Webelos, and $10 per adult. You can register at this link: To ensure your unit receives a patch, you need to register by January 15, so again, start talking with your units and start planning!
