Samaritan Village is a non profit heading the charge in Central Florida for providing long term therapeutic care to victims of human trafficking. It is their mission that every woman who has fallen victim to sexual exploitation and trafficking has a safe place to heal and rebuild. There are so many who are unaware of how great the issue of human trafficking is in the United States, and especially in the stat of Florida. Florida ranks 3rd in the number of calls reported to the National Human Trafficking Resource Center s hotline. Services There is a huge gap in services for theses victims. In fact there are only 10 Beds available in Central Florida set aside for the long term rehabilitation of adult, female survivors of trafficking. Out of those beds, Samaritan Villages has 6 of them. The cost of longterm Rehabilitation is around $40,000 per person per year. The need for support and partnership is great. To learn more about Samaritan Village and how you can help, contact : Dcoleman@samaritanvillage.net or call
