Young Coopt er says that the three men ordered hm to march up the hll One of the men marched ahead he came next and the two men brought up the rear Young Cooper dd not know apparently what the men wanted wth hm He says he recognzed two of the men as the ones who had vsted hs fathers house some months ago and bound and gagged hm and locked hm n a closet Pe began to fear that they ntended harm to hm He felt that they wanted to be revenged From the statements that the men made he says that he judged hs captors wanted to hold hm for ransom He nformed hs father that he heard the men say that they were gong to take hm nto the mountans and hold hm and make your father pay for what he had done Just what the father had done was not stated by the men so the youth asserts The quartette clmbed up the mountan so the bpy asserts The mornng was hot and the crowd began tog tred et a)d thrsty Young Cooper asserts that he watched hs opportunty to escape He saw that they were gettng further and further
