Help us, Help them! Each summer we offer Vacation Bible School here at Most Holy Trinity and as with most things in life...it s not free.

With that, we turn to you our community and invite you to consider sponsoring a child for VBS this summer. The cost per child is $50. Thank you for your constant generosity!

Father Jeff was recently elected Provincial for the Salvatorians and will soon be departing Tucson for Milwaukee.

However, we never turn families away due to financial hardship. We often offer a number of scholarships to those who wish to participate but cannot afford the fees. Vacation Bible School Our VBS theme this year is: A Radical Ride on the Wings of Prayer Date: June Time: 8:30am-12:30pm Where: MHT Parish Ages: Pre-K (Potty Trained) - 5th It takes a village to make VBS a success & we are looking for volunteers who would like to help us this year! We will need volunteers of all ages 7-12th grades, as well as adult volunteers! Pick up a registration form to sign up your child or volunteer today! Farewell Reception Our parish has been very blessed to have Father Jeff Wocken here at Most Holy Trinity. Father Jeff was recently elected Provincial for the Salvatorians and will soon be departing Tucson for Milwaukee. As a small sign of our deepest gratitude for all he has done for our community we will be hosting a farewell gathering following the 9am mass on Sunday, June 17th. All are encouraged to join us as we wish Father Jeff well on his next journey! Food Pantry Our food pantry was developed to meet the on-going ministry to provide basic food for those in need. We are continually in need of things like cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, pasta, pasta sauce, juices & canned fruit. Interested in being an Altar Server? Deacon John will be holding a meeting and training for all those who have received their First Communion and are interested in becoming Altar Servers.

The reading from Genesis promises a final triumph over the power of sin and a return to a new creation. The reading from Second Corinthians promises that all who follow Christ will have to struggle.

The Gospel promises that doing God's will makes us "family" with Jesus, who forgives all sin and triumphs over evil. Today might be a good day for us to make some promises as well.

We can promise ourselves to combat evil and sin by acting as sisters and brothers not only to the Lord, but to one another as well. The Sick and Homebound You are our eyes and ears!

It also promises, however, that we can persevere if we but recognize that Christ is within us, renewing us daily, and giving us the courage and the strength we need to endure. We can promise to stop kidding ourselves about our own tendencies to selfishness and sin. We can promise ourselves to believe--really believe--that while we are not sinless, we are forgiven. Please let us know about sick and homebound parishioners who we do not know about. We do not want anyone to fall through the cracks. We can then assign a Care Minister to visit them. Call the office. Attention Young Adults! Are you of college age and want to do something especially meaningful for others beginning this summer? Most Holy Trinity will be starting a Young Adult Ministry this month. Our first gathering will be June 21st at 6pm in Guadalupe Hall. We will discuss plans for a possible mission trip to an orphanage in Mexico. Pizza will be provided! For more information contact Diana in the office at ext VOLUNTEERS NEEDED In the coming weeks, Habitat for Humanity Tucson will host several home dedications for new 2018 Faith In Action homeowners. The dedication includes a house blessing, comments from the homeowner and their Habitat partner and conclude with a reception. Home dedications are a happy and festive occasion for the new homeowner family and volunteers who worked together to make this home a reality. Volunteer time is from 8:00 am 10:00 am. Help is needed to set-up chairs and tables, arrange the food table and help clean up afterward.
