With copywork, your child will copy prewritten models that demonstrate proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, spacing, etc. It is to be done in their own handwriting. This not only increases penmanship ability but also gives practice in all the essential language arts skills that are so important in the earlier grades.
